It's always gonna be Sarah because she's the nation's pop princess. More so, it's not just being the coach of a show. That was just a bonus. We grew up with her. It's like when Avril Lavigne and Linkin Park was rising in the Philippines, the locals have Sarah G. When US hits the billboard or radio stations with all their pop songs, Sarah G will have the most requested song on a radio station.
Imagine people will spend time on a telephone just to keep on requesting her songs. There are so many stories to tell.
My personal perspective is that, we (usually) don't just base things on who can do best with their craft. Yes, it is kind of bias IF you're someone who did not grew with her time. It's gonna be the total package. The personality.
Sarah has this charm that can break the 4th wall. It's that wall that blocks you from the audience. It doesn't matter if you're a child or a 75 year old grandparent. She will have you singing and dancing.
For me, a singer is not just about vocals. It's how the singer touches the emotion of the audience.
Having said all that, I really admire the three girls. Morissette... Wow, as a Bisaya... Tsk.... Very proud of her. Love her vocals.
Moira, she reminds me of the word NOSTALGIA. She sings like I can go back to the past. That's beautiful talent there.
Katrina, she's a fire.. I am so happy for her being given an opportunity to entertain people especially TH-cam.

I am not a Popster, and I'd choose Katrina among the four. However, SARAH is almost a perfect human being. Among all of the celebrities in the PH, Sarah has the realest and kindest heart. Down to Earth. She didn't change at all since she started and entered the show business. She remained humble even when Regine is already giving her the crown and calling her a queen. That is why Sarah's fans (Popsters) will protect her at all cost.
Also, UP Town Center is a Mall inside the University of the Philippines community. It's actually NOT JUST a university. It is almost a city with businesses, medical establishments and even residential area.

Well i chose Sarah Geronimo 'coz aside from being multi talented she is a good model to kids and teenagers. Despite of her huge name she's still humble. It's not belting that makes u superstar because regine is already there.

She also has this “magic” every time she performs. One in a million lang meron nun.
Honestly, to even remotely compare Sarah to a bunch of Starlets is already delusional. She is an A-list Celebrity and a Pop Icon in the Philippines. Sarah's range has its limits, yes. She is nowhere near Morissette and Katrina's vocal range. They are talented, yes but we have enough belters in the Philippines already. And for heaven's sake, songs and artists don't necessarily get popular because they screech with high notes all the time. Talent is not about that, just saying.
Sarah is what Regine Velasquez is during her prime. And I daresay, even to the level of Sharon Cuneta. She's penetrated multiple fields in the industry being an effective brand ambassador (which she gets paid in the millions), a box-office star (having starred in multiple box office movies) , a TV Star (she had her own soap operas and her own Concert Variety show on TV), a concert Performer (Sarah has held theater, arena and stadium shows worldwide, and has proven that she sells her tickets like hotcakes), and a recording star (FFS she is a multi-platinum recording artist. HECK EVEN HER CONCERT DVDs are platinum), and has taken over a lot of creative direction with her material.
I respect all of them, they are talented. But I think you don't understand how popular or how respected Sarah is in the Philippines. Fans may pit their favorite singers to Sarah but at the end of the day, Sarah has won people over since 2003. The level of Icon of Sarah parallels to the Filipino greats. She certainly does not need any validation from anyone at this point, especially from reactors like you😊💯

They don't choose Sarah for popularity's sake. You've been reacting these 4 and you knew how huge Morisette amon is globally. Same with Katrina. Sarah G is the people's choice because of her style, dynamics, and her versatility as a singer. She does not limit herself into one genre only. She tries to evolve herself year by year according to what's the common amongst many. In short, she knows how to play the game so she will not be left behind with these new faces of singers which you always admire cuz they can belt. Yes, you always say belting is not what you like most about Mori and Katrine but their quality. So as US! We choose quality and style, and so far, Sarah is killing it. She doesn't need to belt and yes her belting style is not as powerful as Morisette. But why is she on top still after 15 years? Not because she's a judge of a singing competition, actress, endorser... Simply because she evolves her style.
You're trying to be fair but everytime you say something, you seemed to be disappointed that only few selected Mori and Kat. Leave it to them. FYI: Mori and Moira were product of The Voice Philippines. Mori become popular because of lung busting or shall I see belting ability but in singing it’s not only belting, it’s how you convey the message of the song. I’m going to bet my last dollar that when you go to the Philippines and do your own survey, the result will be the same. Don’t ever underestimate the love of Filipinos towards Sarah. Her This 15 Me Concert sealed her popularity when it became the Highest Grossing Local Concert of All Times. With regards to Moira, her songs were on the top list of Spotify which Mori never achieved. Mori became popular due to her performances at the Wish Bus. Moira on the other hand is already famous before she became a coach. She writes and compose her own songs that tops the chart and her songs are some of the most sought in Spotify. For exposure, she doesn’t need to be a coach coz her songs alone made her mark in the showbiz industry. I know you’re a Mori fan but just a reminder that not everyone agrees with your pick, it’s just a matter of personal preference or shall I say “To each his own”. There shouldn’t be a comparison coz each of these artists have their own trademark. You mention in some of your reactions that Sarah is inconsistent and need I remind you that all of them have inconsistencies. They’re not perfect coz they’re human beings. Belting is just part of the set of singing skills of an artist. But, it is not the entirety of it. They can do other than that. Singers who would dump singers who can belt are just trying to campaign their kind of singing or genre of music.
Singing is not just about birit, Sarah has it all, she doesn't need to birit all the time cause she almost mastered different kinds of music.

Hi Ovela, this video will show you how filipinos loves Sarah & Moira. It's true that they are more exposed than the two(Morissette and Katrina) but I think what really contributed most when it comes to their popularity, is that their attitude/humility/personality especially for Sarah, she has been the role model of the youth for almost 2 decades now. By watching the video, you'll noticed that there's no specific reason on why they chose a specific artist which means that it can be because of their vocals, popularity, physical appearance and all. I'm not actually surprised that Sarah had a landslide win. Also, I believe that the 3 aren't newbies anymore, especially Morissette, she's been in the industry for a decade now.
To sum up, these people didn't choose Sarah just because she's POPULAR, these people grew up watching her & very much aware on how great she is when it comes to her singing skills.

Technically for me Morissette is definitely on top. But Morissette is famous mostly in TH-cam because of her great covers. Sarah on the other hand, is one of the most famous if not the MOST FAMOUS singer in the Philippines. She is not only a singer but a great influencer. Morissette herself admitted that she was greatly inspired by Sarah G. And on top of that Sarah was known to be a very good, loving and dedicated daughter even though her mother is like a monster (sorry for the word 😅) her life is literally a Disney Princess 😄. That's why Sarah captured the hearts of a lot of Filipinos. I was once a Sarah G fan also before I became one of the Mowienatics now.🥰
They are great singers. But We filipinos look the inner character of an artist.
