Crazy how many decades later this Park still manages to hold up.
It's incredible how much of IOA looks exactly like it did nearly 25 years ago.

To me, that's not a bad thing. Only major difference now is Lost Continent is pretty much gone and replaced with Harry Potter now.

Time really passes. Love that early "Jurassic Park River Adventure" the animatronics were astounding at that era.

@@DisneyDave Back when they actually worked too! Ha, ha! i went back in July this year, and some of the dinos were missing, and the others that were present... sadly wern't working that well or at all. It was really sad to see the state of it.
@@eviltom17 that’s such a shame to hear they are not maintaining the ride especially when it was only a few years ago when the ride had a refurbishment 😞
Man, I really miss Dueling Dragons and honestly that whole area that used to be there. And with the closing and demolishment of Lost Continent, It's really sad to see. Though, I guess nostalgia will make it more than it actually was. Besides DD, that was an awesome rollar coaster back in the day.
Well you might want to go to HHN because there’s a entire house based off Dueling Dragons

Honestly I didn’t know IOA was this old I went for the first time in 2011, the rides still keep up with the times.

I wish I saved the money and went on a trip to Islands of Adventure back when it was first opened, it would ahve been such an experience to behold back then. I went late in 2023 and though I was 24 years late, it still holds up.
I love so much your home video footage of the parks!! It’s so amazing and beautiful to admire these precious memories of these precious parks. In a couple days, (12 days and counting to be exact haha) me and my partner are gonna go on vacation and visit these parks, and we love watching your videos in anticipation for our trip as we are gonna get to see how much these parks have changed and evolved today in just a few more daysss🥰 so excited and so grateful for your capturing and time-capsuling of these beautiful places💚

PS. Sometimes I watch to see if my family is ever in any of them. We used to go to Disney and Universal every year. I know the chances are slim any of the home videos were shot the same day, but we usually went for xmas & New Years!
It would be so cool if you were to spot your family and you, I am hoping this will happen one day, I have had a couple of different cast members commenting saying they were in my video, but no park guest yet, But fingers crossed this will happen one day! Thanks for watching Jamie, Appreciate that 👍

Potter destroyed the Lost Continent.
I completaly agree. Dueling dragons with the sculpture was just awesome. And complete the theming. After potter it became shallow
HP area was so immersive Disney hasn’t even been able to respond ever, none of their lands have gotten close both Star Wars and Toy Story land suck

Hey Kenny, Sure we will be back, and we were there this time last year for 2 weeks, it was especially rememberable because we were there for EPCOT's 40th & when Hurricane Ian hit Orlando! 👍
They said the ride is way worse now, the projections and screens are horrible in 99, way better now.
