    0:31 Hahahahaha!!!! 😁
11:44 Hey Tobgi, it's about now with what you're saying here that I have to ask you if you ever watched the Back To The Future trilogy? But to get back to your point, I think when they kissed in the earlier episodes they both sensed something different with each other, other than a romantic attraction, although they both couldn't pinpoint what it was. Recall in "Empire" that Luke was able to easily mentally connect with his sister when hanging from that floating city with one arm? And earlier in Empire when Leia kissed Luke in front of Han, she did it just to make Han a bit jealous and to get back at him for bragging about himself. It was a bit perplexing to us back in the 80s too when all this happened, but it all worked out in the end! LOL!
23:40 Oh yeah, he got really pissed at his dad for threatening his sister. But snapped out of it when he cut his dad's hand off like what was done to him. And looking at his own mechanical hand, recall how Obi told Luke his dad was mostly machine now.
32:05 That's why you're going to enjoy the prequels. In the original Return Of The Jedi, the same actor who played Darth was used here. But in this more recent CGI version you've watched they substituted that actor for the one who plays Anakin in the prequels. Keep 'em coming Tobgi! 😁

I am glad you enjoyed this one. I did react BTTF before and I think you watched it but that was more than a year ago (it’s no longer on my channel with many others as they had a problem that pushed viewers away).
Speaking of Leia and Luke I think the explanation you did makes sense especially how he was able to communicate with her when hanging in empire strikes back.

@@TobgiReacts I thought you may had seen BTTF and checked your video page for them, but weren't there. Sorry you lost those.
Looking forward to your next videos! 😁👍

Cgi didn’t exist in 1983. This is a 1997, perhaps more recent version which has cgi added, replacing practical effects. The music sequence in Jabba’s palace was not the pre-1983 original. Also, Anakin’s ghost at the end was played by the actor underneath Vader’s helmet. The actor’s face from the prequels has been superimposed over it. The original actor is seen looking directly at Luke with a wide grin.

CGI definitely existed before 1983. The first recorded use in a feature film is credited as Westworld (1973)
Thing is in older films the use of CGI was less due to a combination of expense for budget and the desired effects often looked less good than practical effects unless it was used sparingly.

Actually at this time there was no CGI...effects were limited to green screen, models, stop motion, matte paintings and puppets etc.

Its actually impressive they had to get creative and use what they had at the time to create this masterpiece!

Only time Leia kissed Luke was on Hoth to piss off Han.
The sister twist was not even in the initial script for this movie I think.
What i understood George Lucas came up with it during the shooting.

The emperor's dark side lightning ruined Vader's life support systems, so Vader would have died even with his mask back on. And there's no way Luke and Anakin would have been able to be together. Even though Anakin turned good in the end, the fact he that he killed millions of innocent people at the behest of a brutal dictatorship. He certainly would have been tried for war crimes and probably executed. Luke may have seen the good in Vader, but the rest of the galaxy would not see it that way.
Leia was not originally going to be Luke's sister. Initially his sister would have been revealed in this movie and been the focus of the next trilogy. But George Lucas was tired of making Star Wars movies and wanted to wrap everything up in this film, so he just made Leia the sister. Incidentally, Vader was originally not Luke's father. In the first film, they talk about Vader and Luke's father as being two separate people because that's how it was going to be originally. The idea of Vader being Luke's father didn't materialize until the second draft of The Empire Strikes Back.

Binge-watching your Star Wars playlist (currently at 7 movies including Rogue One) and after watching your view of Vader change from one of powerful villainy to tender empathy, I am excited to continue on to the prequels to see how you react to the life experiences and events that "created" Vader.

Lovely, it was great watching them and experiencing them for the first time. Yea my perspective changed along the way...I have to say they wrote his story very well. Its very unique to have hatred for him mixed with how much powerful he is to tearing up at his death

Keep in mind that Ep.1 takes place before the empire, so there are no rebels and no emperor yet. The government is the Republic, which is ruled by a congress of elected senators representing planets and species from all around the galaxy. The leader of this galactic senate is the Supreme Chancellor, kind of like the president or prime minister of the galaxy. There is no military because there has been no war for 1,000, thanks to the Jedi Knights. It's the Jedi Order that keeps the peace and settles galactic conflicts. Though the Jedi serve the Republic, they exist apart from it with their own rules and traditions. Centuries before, they were believed to have wiped out their ancient enemy, the Dark Lords of the Sith, evil warriors who used the dark side of the Force to try to conquer and take over the galaxy. (It's interesting to note that in deleted scenes and comics from Ep.4, Darth Vader is referred to as a Dark Lord of the Sith.)
By the time of Ep.1, however, the senate has become corrupt. Senators are open to bribery from powerful corporations while the pleas of the people go unheard. These corporations are so powerful that they even have their own senators in congress who manipulate the laws in their own favor. One such corporation is the Trade Federation, which controls most of the trade routes through the galaxy. They are the apparent bad guys, but they are actually in cahoots with a familiar-looking hooded figure who is actually controlling things from behind the scenes. His name is mentioned only briefly and it's easy to miss, so make note of it: Darth Sidious. Not even the Jedi are aware of his existence.

    "Put the mask on!"
Remember that he said when Luke said
"You will die" and Vader responded with
    "Nothing can stop that now".
His mask was ruined by Emperor Palpatines lightning.
