This is a good refresher. I am retired but for some odd reason I wanted to review drafting and came across this video. I disagree with folks about not seeing the video you defined what was needed well and went over what was on the video with the demo. Friction loss is easy to forget in the heat of the moment so for me I made a laminated Pump tip sheet with big font I could glance at if I got too excited in the moment. Not something I relied on but for me it helped make me remember minor details like Pull up, master stream out, remember water supply first. Simple still like that. It may be frowned upon in some depth but I still aced my Gauls regardless. Thanks Scott
Watched this as a bit of a refresher...very informative, very well done. The sound quality didn't bother me at all; I've done this in real-time with ALOT more noise.
The point of the video should not to be realistic but rather to learn from hearing what he is explaining. If i wanted to know how a jet engine works I wouldn't want to stand next to it and not be able to hear someone explaining how it works.
the only issue I have is you reference what is on your screen a lot with verbalizing it and the camera didn't adjust for the brightness at all so I don't know what's there. Otherwise, good video
I have to second Kevin Fields comment regarding the fact that the camera can NOT see what's on the TV screen that you keep pointing too. Also, the audio in this video is horrible. I can not understand 70% of what you're saying because it's garbled with a lot of white noise in the background... (fan running maybe).

What do the mean by changeover...why do they call it changeover ...its just pumping from truck or off hydrant
They are changing over from using the trucks tank water, to running off of the hydrant water and closing off the tank
Great job! Thanks
Well done man!
Great vid
Hi, we are looking at a pumper tanker for our property up in the bush , will these trucks pump out of a lake say 50 feet away to fill up the tank?
Good quality sound would have been nice! You cannot hear anything!

Dude, this video isn't very well thought out. I couldn't hear anything, or see anything on the tv.
does pumper also carry water?
