Agreed, when he was talking about a card that someone had suggested I assumed it was Tyvar's stand. So good for the extra pump to close out a game as well.
I think this is the most solid gruul deck out there atm. I dont really get the doubts surrounding blossoming defense when the meta is so removal heavy.
@@thomasclowater9471 I'd say blossoming defense is better as a 4 of. I would be ok with having an extra veil/tyvar, but definitely wouldn't want 4 tyvars stand since it's a card you want to cast for 1 mana most of the time.
@kaziksmolski3429 ah, if you have a good plan and know what your doin its like a bye, i play angels alot and im 11-0 on mtgo vs this deck and most games are non comptetaive... they do sneak in a game win here & there but thats about it.

I’ve been running 4 blossoming defense 2 Tyvars stand. Tyvar has been real clean against wrath’s and verdicts

@@HalcyonVentures i honestly think I’ve used the pump once in 30+ games with it, but has saved me from deathtouch probably 10 times

only thing is I wonder if other options might be better, like tyvar's stand or snakeskin veil

ploting is always a better play because you can do multispell in one turn making you more efficient doing dmg
