I agree about KingStar metallic thread. It is superb. My machine is mega fussy about thread and needles but KingStar stitches so well with no change of needle or tension. As for other thread well, it hates Simthread and shreds it all the time and also only works well with Universal 90/14 needles. Anyone having any difficulties with their machine should, perhaps, try different thread or needles. These machines all have their own personalities! It is just discovering what they are! I was at the point of giving up when I discovered these things by accident really. Love the mug rug Sue but not keen on that skull and crossbones fabric. Each to his/her own! Thanks.
