Doesn’t it feel like it’s in a way of sadness and happiness but mixed together and it reminded you of your childhood and how you moved on from the past :)
They sat in the windowsill. How long had it been? All they knew was that everyone was fighting, and everything was going wrong. They expected someone to just barge into their room and start screaming, but... nobody came. Suddenly, the room all went white. Someone- no, a woman- holding a baby. The baby was wrapped in a little blanket, silent as ever. Pretty surprising, considering most babies would be screaming and crying. They stared at the figure- the oddly familiar woman. Then they saw a man walk up, gentle as can be, pick up the baby. They softly said their name, and then it hit them. This was.. their parents. And then, as fast as they arrived, they left. Back to the rainy window, soft music playing through their headphones as screams persisted. When had life turned this way..?

@@SincerelyJoykiller IF you want people to feel like they aren't alone, then don't write things like this and just tell them that. Its more insulting to fabricate a pity-story than to just tell people, "you aren't alone". If you want to write, sure, write all you want. But please don't do it this way.
The war carried on for many decades, causing the opposing sides to poison and taint the once beautiful land. Mountains were used to track incoming fleets of jets, oceans become the battle ground after the fields had piled with corpses of the innocent and tainted souls. Bombs were used far to early, people panicking everywhere because of it. Supreme leaders tried everything they could without getting involved, but even then it was all futile. No one remembers if anyone won, all they say is that once one side had been executed, the other felt guilt snatch it by the throat and pull it down into the icy pools of regret like the merciless monster it was. The world was a devastating site, seas tainted a sewage green and unfertile land scattered everywhere. All the pretty animals had died off at some point, leaving wild rats and cockroaches to roam the lands and eat away at the rotting piles of flesh. Humans had been one of those nasty surviving creatures, soaring back down to the bottom of all food chains. The nuclear waste had mutated many of them, creating monsters even the devil himself feared more than anything. What's worse? They couldn't die. These ruthless monsters were in constant pain and suffering and yet they could never fall to the sweet release of death. People beat them until they fell, but even then they never were taken by the reaper. As the new generations came and went, the Earth slowly, very slowly, began to repair itself. Humans had died off ages ago due to too much inbreeding, allowing Mother Nature to finally breath a sigh of relief. The lands were so infertile, yet so malleable to whichever new species took over, alien or not. Trash that once decorated the sky, sea and ground finally had it's time, breaking down to the point of no damage. The animals that evolved onto this new Earth never knew of what had happened before they came to be, believing that within those billions of years their precious planet had not been able to grow life yet. Little did they know that she hid her dark past, her first attempt to create a beautiful and intelligent species had nearly cost her life, and all her gorgeous creations. She still hides it today, even as she sees history repeat itself, causing her fragile heart to rip and tear at the old scars she thought to have sealed long ago.
