Really nice job! I got my hands on my first atlatl last month and am having fun learning to use the thing. I was curious about the amount of work that was involved to make my own set one of these days, and you made me feel like this is all pretty doable. I appreciate you putting this together. Thanks a lot!
Very nice video

Great video
That's 1 dead wood chuck.
Thanks for the tutorial
Very nice explication
Thank you
Why does the arrow need to be so long?
They are called darts. They are more like a spear than an arrow.
Why use glue? Not primitive if using gorilla glue
There is nothing primitive about this build.
Thank you for the video. Good stuff.
What brand of respirator are you wearing when you are grinding ?
Probably 3m

fun project, good job Jamie.
Great job you know well from my research that the spear shaft was detachable from the point? But there's many opinions about this thanks
I appreciate the video just discovered the atlatl time to take this to the woods
That looks fantastic! Great job... looks like I have another project to start on.
Really nice video!! I will be making one too
Very nice build Jamie!
Thanks Matt
I wonder how a pine 2x2 would do for this. I’d still have to figure out the spur though.
I have used pine. The Atlatl has to be a little thicker. Try to attach a hard wood spur. It will last a lot longer
