loved the ending summary seojun's actor gave.
rough trans: "a normal love story that could have happened to any person, has happened to jiwoo and seojun."
i feel like this statement fully encapsulates the entirety of season 2.
the main conflict between jiwoo and seojun is a relationship issue that's already happened between jiwoo and his ex and will likely happen between his company ceo and his girlfriend.
this show is just a romance, an angsty yet common love story that could happen to anyone. and stressing the how unspectacular the relationship is so so so important for a lgbtq love story.
another thing i loved about the writing of the show is how they steered clear from superimposing what's meant to be traditionally female and male roles in a relationship onto a same sex couple.
both jiwoo and seojun show mixed and matched traits of the stereotypical masc and fem relationship roles.
(to name a few:
jiwoo is the more stand off ish and blunt 'man of few words' archetype but he's also the one who does housework and is pursued for most of the show, earns less money, is babied by seojun a lot, etc.
seojun is more affectionate and has the habit of having a 'customer service mask' on, which women are typically shown to have. but he also is the one initiating the relationship, pursuing the significant other, pushing for more skinship, etc)
so many representations of same sex couples end up being just an iteration of what is thought to be a "normal hetero couple", assigning traditionally fem and masc roles.
i really appreciate that this show not only didnt do that for jiwoo and seojun but also made it a point to break those stereotypes for even the hetero relationships in the show.
all in all, one of the show's greatest strengths is how commonplace the happenings are. it truly feels like just a slice of life and because it's such a ubiquitous love story it really hits hard. i was soooo invested in their story and received high emotional damage during their fights because it's all just so believable.

여운이 너무 짙게 남아서 나별 보내는데 시간이 꽤 걸릴 것 같아요...과몰입해서 그런지 무슨 노래를 듣던 나별 장면밖에 생각이 안나요🥲 정말 우현 배우님이 말씀하신 것처럼 누구나 겪는 보통의 연애를 너무 잘 담은 작품이라 그런지 모르겠지만 지금까지 봐왔던 다른 작품들보다 오히려 더 여운이 짙게 남는 것 같아요 어떤 작품을 보든 드라마는 드라마라 좀 비현실적인 느낌이 어쩔 수 없이 드는데 왠지 모르게 나별은 그냥 지우와 서준이의 연애를 제3자의 입장에서 멀리서 지켜본 느낌이랄까요...? 그만큼 배우분들의 연기도 정말 자연스러웠고 인상깊었던 것 같아요 어쩜 제목도 '나의 별에게'...지금까지 살면서 정말 많은 작품들을 봤지만 나별은 정말 잊지 못할 것 같아요 이런 좋은 작품 만들어주신 감독님과 작가님 모든 배우분들 정말 감사합니다

개인적으로 시즌1은 쫌 오그라?들었는데. 2는 괜찮았음. 손우현배우님은 평상시가 더 잘생겼는데.. 오히려 드라마 앵글에서는 잘생김이 잘 안나오는거 같아 속상ㅠㅠ
솔직히 손우현이 연기를 너무 잘해서 몰입이ㅜ잘되고 김강민도 너무 귀여웡 ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ 그리고 일단 둘 다 넘 잘생....
즌3 나올거니까 아쉽지않게 보낼게요
