How much? This was amazing work. exactly what i was expecting to see.. this works for all plastic headlights? I have a 2016 panamara and the lights pop off easy. They have sone small scratches that i want removed H G
@@BorndetailersTv got ya. I see the normal range is somewhere between $75-150 sometimes higher. I think it’s insane for Mobile guys to charge anywhere between $45-65 for a pair! I often wonder how they make a living on such a loss? Even if they aim for volume they’re killing themselves all day to earn a decent profit. Most mobile detailers offer this for $50 which is crazy for an upsell option. What are your thoughts?
@@MichaelBrianInc there’s a spot here in SoCal that does full headlight restoration plus XPEL ultimate plus starting at $180 for both headlights. That’s a hell of a deal considering PPF gives better protection than ceramic coating and clear, plus it protects against impacts, they give a 10 year warranty on the service.
Most clear plastics come with the clearcoat that's what makes them clear. Porshe actually has really thick clearcoat. Most manufacturers have really thin at least on the headlights. It's a common thing for Clear Bra to pull them off. T

Thanks for the vid, what settings are you running on your gun?
35 psi with a 1.3 tip
Man what rpm/opm? works for stripping that clear coat? A DA tool i want starts at 4,000 opm.
I was banking on 320 grit first.
What type of clear coat do you use?
- also do they sell this clear coat in a spray can?

Hello how much you charge for this service for 911.
200 a light depending on how bad they R
Could those lens just been replaced with after market ones? Someone just backed into my panamera and cracked my headlight.
The after ones are crazy expensive to this customer wanted to stay OEM
Where are you located ? I need that done to my Porsche
Have them restored and apply some paint protection film over them, it will last a lot longer and provide better protection than clear coat.

Regular lights is a couple hundred light it’s not too bad you pretty much can save any light if it’s on the exterior of the light
Great job! Whew! Those lights are expensive... How much do you charge for this type of service? Or what’s the range you charge?
Depends on the light/car and how damaged they are!

@@BorndetailersTv wow. I’m charging $150 for pair mobile service. I may need to consider raising my price. I use ceramic to coat also.

Use clear plastic adhesion promoter before the clear coat....I found they hold up better against chipping 👍👍
Why do you keep saying clear coat? They are factory clear headlight lens I don't think headlights come clear coated from the factory stock.

@@BorndetailersTv I don't know about that it looks like clear plastic to me. Doesn't look like no clear coat is sprayed on it from the factory.
