Dude, you're incredible! Thank you for this masterpiece! I genuinely almost cried when it said "fighter pilot *replacement* " and actually cried during the "Lance is a red paladin" sequence. Lance is such a great character, but I feel like the show didn't get everything out of his potential. I'm only at the end of season 7, but it's already very noticeable. The focus of the shows has shifted so far away from him. I'm happy we got to know so much about Keith, but where's my sword-wielding Loverboy? I feel like they've been really going somewhere with his development: his willingness to stand down, summonning the sword and talking some sense into Keith when his impulsiveness was putting everybody in danger - I saw a great leader in him. A better one than Keith, at times (seriously, that was so weird: he's a loner and a hothead, leaves the team or puts everybody in jeopardy every now and then; and then at times he's just an awesome leader. where did it come from, where did it go?) But yeah, I sort of wish they actually put all of these scrambled ideas to use. Like, maybe Lance getting a response from the Black Lion - just for a couple of seconds, when neither Shiro nor Keith are there. Or him getting really good at sword-fighting. I know that if he'd become too cool, he'd simultaneously get much less relatable for people, but c'mon. He deserved better. Anyway, great animatic! Keep it up! Love your style and ideas.
