Herman Thygesen good job replying to a comment from 2014. I was talking about creating a story in the context of electronic music. Plenty of Rap artits like Kendrick Lamar articulate beautiful stories
+Kim. It actually has a theme, and creates an atmosphere when i listen to it... perfect blend of savant ammazing electronic maggic and the catchy melodies of the middle east... all the other albums are just meh
Mr. Vinter, you are brilliant. You know that. Many people have told and shown you that. That means, you are having a remarkable impact on many people's musical life. And life, there's only one, summing everything up, so take that as a humbly major compliment. Your songs are living creatures. They are breathing and interacting with their environment. They are growing and changing their skin and face multiple times whilst being. I stumbled over one of your songs, my ears and mind stumbled, and after three songs I was hooked. I got my husband hooked with the first song, and even our son (9) is hooked! In fact, he drew a picture for you. Is there any way to get it to you? We're not on Facebook, not on Twitter. Rock on, Savant! The way it feels good to you.
Break it down...the first track that gave me goosebumps in this album. The thing is, it sounds so...Arabic, combined with those insane screechy sounds. When I hear this, I imagine the traveller going through an Arabic marketplace that is crammed with many shoppers and ware sellers. Then when the screeching sound kicks in, the traveller spots an Arabic Robot who tries to capture him and take him to the Prince of Zion. Fucking weird, I know, but that's what my imagination is. And watching tons of Anime doesn't help.
00:50 reminds me of Prodigy's Baby's Got a Temper, so I always sing those lyrics there lol. Glad to hear the big beat influence from the scrapped album made it over in some form, I'm in love with this tune!
Chanceler64 Erhmagerd, I thought sort of the same type of scenario. xD Except I thought like once it gets to the drop (0:20) the traveller starts breakdancing and shit and then others start joining along and in the end everyone starts dancing and yeah, meow. Something like that. Lol
I like to think of this album as the travellers adventures across the land, with Annunaki being him setting off from his temple towards Zion. On his way he meets various people on his way there, asking for directions etc. In the last song the traveler has made it to Zion, but war has broken out and he helps fight a force that is attacking this promised land.
The first time I enjoyed this track was the first time I went to Teotihuacan, Mexico, and going up the Sun's Pyramid, was truly an awesome feel while listening to this. -Nothing related between Aztec culture and the arabic sounds here but I found kinda beautiful those two concepts together.
So, is this 98 BPM Glitch Hop with some cut-time segments added in or is this no genre like every Savant fan argues it being due to it being made by the "savant" of music? No harshness intended, but every fan here gets butt-hurt when people want to know what the genre is.
98 BPM Glitch Hop with some cut-time segments? Please. This is Post-Jungle Darkstep Waffle Breakcore. But srsly, the only classification I have for this is "Electronic music with Arabic influences". But I guess we can think of a bullshit genre name for that now... Pharaoh Electro?
Not sure if you will see this comment but have you ever tried making Trap music? I'm pretty sure you would destroy the majority of Trap artists if you did.
Savant is the only person to truly create a story in every single song he does! Its incredible how talented he is
+Hit_TheBass HAHAHAHAH wow you need to listen to other artists out there man
+Herman Thygesen was that really necessary? no
Thea Naomi I actually feel bad for him
+Herman Thygesen i think his barely alive profile picture kind of shows that he already does
Herman Thygesen

The Zion album to me has a special sort of charm that Savant's other albums don't quite have.
+Kim. It actually has a theme, and creates an atmosphere when i listen to it... perfect blend of savant ammazing electronic maggic and the catchy melodies of the middle east... all the other albums are just meh
Pavel Marek I liked the vario album I think it was pretty good for example wade in the water and ode to joy
none of those 2 tracks are actually from vario
Madero really huh well my life is a lie ( later realized that they were from savant fans channel)
Madero by is vario 64 from vario because that was pretty good
This is DEFINITELY one of those songs that the more you listen to it -- the better it becomes. Very under-rated!
Shalom.
Jewish dubstep is a phrase i thought i would never use...
0:20 - Just beautiful - Only Savant.
0:49 - Only Savant. Amazing.
1:38 - Again, only Savant does this.
2:10 - Addition to awesomeness
3:57 'til outtro - Only. Savant. Does. These. Things.

Omg I think that I can safely call this the best song in the album.
I totally agree
Vinter in Jerusalem Confirmed??
+F99 Another alias to add to the belt...
SHALOM.
Zimtschock שלום
Is there a tapping at 1:15 or am I hallucinating?
Did anyone else notice the weird knocking sort of sound between 1:15 and 1:20? It sounds like s problem with the recording maybe?
In all honesty knowing Savant he probably did that on purpose.
zimzameef Perhaps, but i don't see why he would.
Red Claw then see it
It sounds kinda like a rustling and then footsteps. I would have to concur with zimzameef on this one. ^~^
iloominaty confeerm
how does this not have a million views!? come on this is epic!
One year anniversary for my favorite song on the Zion album.

Mother of god, I see you fucking everywhere.

You just described the music video.
Everytime I want to start listen to this album, I start playing from Nazareth till the last song Zion..*heavybreathtaking*
Okay but the real question is, where can I buy a poster with the entire cover art on it?
+Trilby goddamn i'd buy that

00:50 reminds me of Prodigy's Baby's Got a Temper, so I always sing those lyrics there lol.
Glad to hear the big beat influence from the scrapped album made it over in some form, I'm in love with this tune!
There should be an awesome music video to this song
Chanceler64 Erhmagerd, I thought sort of the same type of scenario. xD

Corrupted Shade holy shit are you cringe. "Erhmagerd"

I love it.
00:21 It's like Vanity! The bass just thinks "Fuck this!!!! I play whenever I want!!!"
You have outcome yourself once again, props to you :D
The first time I enjoyed this track was the first time I went to Teotihuacan, Mexico, and going up the Sun's Pyramid, was truly an awesome feel while listening to this.
-Nothing related between Aztec culture and the arabic sounds here but I found kinda beautiful those two concepts together.
5 years later and I’m getting mad nostalgia

*****
ikr Harmless is so underused for what it can do
Broken4thWall Harmor is, yes
its called Harmless in Fl 10, it is the same thing. Unless I have been using some unknown, amazing plugin.
Broken4thWall Hmm, I should've read up on my facts- haha! What is the difference between the current FL 11's Harmless and the previous one?
I don't think there is one. I have seen Savant use it and it looks exactly the same.
PLEASE PERFORM LIVE AT THE HOUSE OF BLUES IN DALLAS TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SAVANT IN THE TRAAAAAAAAP

*That Melody.. Too Adictive*
Does it say salam at the drop or what is it ?
Shalom. In Hebrew it's hello, goodbye, and peace.
thanks and peace to you too
Abraman Technically it's only peace, the fact that it's used as a greeting doesn't change the fact that you're essentially saying "peace be unto you"
iamrepairmanman Right, thanks.
Abraman you wrong, in hebrew it meens only: hello and peace
Anyone else feeling a Beats Antique vibe?
YESSS!!! Thank you for describing it.
I was literally about to comment on this but I happened to scroll down and see this. I'm glad I'm not the only one who picked up on this.
You are epic

I know what's playing at my bar mitzvah!

clearly it's dubstep
clearly it's S/\\//\NTSTEP
I'd label it more as breakbeat, but electronic fans are so picky, you'll get a ton of different answers, saying different things.
"Fuck genres."
-Savant
98 BPM Glitch Hop with some cut-time segments? Please. This is Post-Jungle Darkstep Waffle Breakcore. But srsly, the only classification I have for this is "Electronic music with Arabic influences".

Cuuuuulll XD

Not sure if you will see this comment but have you ever tried making Trap music? I'm pretty sure you would destroy the majority of Trap artists if you did.
+Masta Blastya this is trap
If i were Jewish id play this at my barmixtzfah
i can see this track being played in Noragami
+Agitated Now that you mention it, I could totally see that.
+SavantFans Reboot yeah i liked their soundtrack a lot for season 1
+Agitated Yeah Noragami had some great music that is one of the most important reasons i got so hooked
I really liked the Noragami s2 opening. Also, the fight music is where it's at.
