Cane seems to score lots of playoff goals and he is still being played with top line hear and there cane is a work horse in corner there moving him around he has kept temper under control and looks good going into playoffs him and Perry will be what they need last playoffs he was a scoring machine I wouldn't worry about cane coach isn't worried he is doing other stuff contributing and there giving cane ice time cause they no he is going to come through

I told you way back when the trade was made, that Ekholm was a great defensive D-man (I think I said something like Larsson's big brother). Trust me, Vinny is only in his 2nd NHL season. Yes, he sometimes has the yips, but he's already much better than last season, and I would suggest that he's also already a better NHL level big D-man than Logan Stanley. Vinny may top out as a third pair #5 Dman, but for a 7th round pick, and a low cap hit, that's a win.

He was hired to promote and grow hockey in America back in 93 (after Montreal won) and that is his first priority. Watch the so called "officiating" during the playoffs and you will see why no Canadian team has ever won and why he will not allow it ever again. Just keep telling the wrestling referees to ignore calls against the American team and nitpick every little thing against the Canadian team then they can say: "Nice try Canadian team, Hopefully next year". Two of the best teams in the league right now are Toronto and Edmonton but I guarantee they will never meet in the finals.
