THEORY: The devil is talking about Diane. I know this is kind of obvious if you’re following the lore or something but yeah. In another video, the devil is talking about how Venus (DIANE’S DAUGHTER) would be the key to kill Diane. In Julius Caesar (the play that this song is referring to) Brutus was Julius Caesar’s son and Caesar was his mentor. Brutus then kills Caesar out of envy and hatred. Perhaps, this song could be reinterpreted as Venus being in Brutus’ place, and Diane being in Caesar’s place. It was also said that Brutus was manipulated to think of Caesar as an enemy due to multiple forged letters. Perhaps the devil manipulates Venus as well, and the two plot to kill Diane?
