I am afraid of spiders so it takes a freaking lot for me to like one. It has to be super colorful or cute like a jumping spider BUT, for some reason I have fallen in love with this spider.
That enclosure is really beautiful, I'm sure your girl will love it. My goodness she is so big, I think she's the biggest spider I've ever seen, and her condition is wonderful. I hope you get an egg sac!!
What a lucky girl she is - it looks amazing considering the time it took to ‘throw’ together; couple of months you’ll have a hobbit in there - for a day or two. Her abdomen is huge, and I think she’s very pleased with her new home - or she absolutely hates it, either way, she’s very, very calm. I hope she drops a sac Dave, fantastic footage of a gorgeous Stirmi and a wonderfully designed and built enclosure. Good luck! 👍😉
Dude! You work magic with your enclosures. They are always so beautiful! I'm sure your tarantulas absolutely love living in The Beastie Room. Great job Dave and Camera Lady! I aspire to one day soon create masterpieces for my babies too.🙂
Wow! If I saw that beastie in my house, I think something of equal size and color would appear very soon after. What a movie monster sized spider! A real beauty! Another fun visit to the Beastie room! Thanks Dave!
I definitely love the new rehouse for your female Stirmi. The design of the new enclosure really does look great, and looked easier to work with as well. Fingers crossed your female is pregnant. Awesome work.
Beautiful new home. I have only been watching for a couple of weeks. I am actually petrified of spiders. I completely leave them alone if they leave me alone. I had a "family" of garden orb spiders that made their home on a table I sit at outside in the summer. They loved the 24/7 lamp I left on for light and all the places they could build their nests and especially all the bugs that came to the light at night!! I actually gave them plenty of room and we stayed completely apart from each other. Of course I became silly about it...I created a family tree for them with Grandparents, parents, kids, aunts, uncles, etc...they all had names and I sent my sister (who is even more scared than I am) a short video everyday and pretended it was like a soap opera drama on TV. For example...little Garcia tried to take Big Mama's web up under the light shade and there was a large argument over that. My sister cracked up with each new episode and thought I was nuts for leaving them there. But they are important. I will say that I am thankful I don't live anywhere near where this "little" girlie lives!! I just adore your channel and how you care for your beasties. Thanks for the great content.
Once again one of the best channel out there on care and upkeep and pairing it's all around a beast of a channel your setups remind me of natural settings for tarantulas and different types of spiders and centipedes and also your scorpions just wow the setups are amazing keep up the good work and great content
Wow Dave your enthusiasm and abilities are amazing coupled with the tremendous knowledge you have with enclosures setups and obviously tarantulas !! I’m learning a lot from your excellent vids Kindest Regards Dave Lloyd
I duno but if I ever aquire a T blondi, stirmi or even an apophysis I will want to hire you to detail their enclosure🤣. You seriously do a wonderful job. She is one big gorgeous lady for sure Dave. You guys have done a great job with her highness. I do hope that she lays lots of eggs. Lord knows she's big enough to have at least a hundred in there, lol. Tyfs God bless you
Very great job to how to treat spiders respect and calm because I see some people treat them like crap and tease them like it was funny isn't funny at all some spiders do have there ways to feel relax and calm I think spiders knows you give them space thank you very much to show people how to treat spiders respect and calm
You always seem to have an excellent relationship with your beasties David.. I think that is one of the major reason I enjoy your videos so much. You treat you critters with respect. That is something I think we as humans should do this with all the critters, animals and other things of this world. To take care of them and respect their existence.. thanks my brother.. I appreciate your work..
Monster? Try beautiful monster*!! Lovely Camera Lady got some gorgeous footage of another lovely lady! I REALLY love that enclosure, your design ideas and its execution by DMS came out perfect for this stunning, giant beastie! Hoping she gets comfortable, settles in and drops a great big sac for you! Thanks for another excellent, quality video xx
What a BIG brilliant Spider & a beautiful NEW enclosure, great job Dave as always. Can anybody in the group please tell me what the biggest GOLIATH on record is ????????
Dave... She is absolutely stunning!! What a lovely big lady!! I have to admit this is one of the best enclosures I've ever seen! Keep up the fantastic work!!! Your channel is my favorite of all I've seen!🥰🥰🥰
Thanks Dave for this video. The Theraphosas are really huge and interesting to look at. Thank you for sharing your work and successes with us. Greetings from Germany.
Gorgeous enclosure, gorgeous spider, and a perfect example of how tarantulas are not really aggressive or scary... they just react to the stimulus around them. I love how, once she was out in her space, she was just calm as ever.
Amazing! I wanted to say that I was taught to be an arachnophobe from early on, but I have also been so interested in spiders. Watching your channel has really opened my eyes about these animals. I can not only glimpse these spiders but spend a significant amount of time watching you care for them. The channel has made me fascinated with them. You all are amazing caretakers. Thank you for that!
It can be useful to avoid spiders in certain countries. Let's say avoiding medium sized black spiders in Australia might be a good thing to do. But in essence no spider is out to hurt you. They dislike seeing you more than you dislike seeing them.
That is one of the nicest enclosers I have seen. Perfect for your beautiful girl. I so hope she does drop a egg sack. Would love to see some precious babies. As always wonderful job. Looking forward to your next video. Always such a pleasure.
Beautiful enclosure and spider. Hoping for you that the rehouse prompts her to create a sac full of healthy slings. Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
What a beauty of a spider! I can feel the excitement! Wow you and Camera lady certainly both love the hobby and your spiders - such dedication and love in creating that amazing enclosure with Dale. So lovely to see! Great camera work by camera lady as usual. Camera lady you are such a big part of this and although we don't see you much, you are greatly appreciated.😃
OMG that thing is HUGE! The cage is beautiful! Hearing you talk brings back fond memories of visiting my Uncles in Dorset long ago, my Mom's side of the family is all from over there.
When you finished making this, I literally said: "oh, come on!" because of how amazing it looked. You've outdone yourself with this one. Definitely your best enclosure yet. It reminds me of what it might look like next to an exposed, mossy tree root in the forest.
This enclosure is definitely one of my favorite ones that I’ve seen you create! Well done, Dave! And this beautiful lady is absolutely spectacular. I’m always amazed by just how large this species can get, what a stunning girl!
the way you handle giant centipedes, giant japanese funnel web spiders and goliath bird eating spiders with such ease, forgive my language..you sir have a HUGE pair. again, nicely done, sir
Beautiful spider and a great new enclosure! Always love to see how you rehouse as your spiders are so relaxed because of how you handle them. Picked up a lot from you in that department so a big thanks from me and my spiders. P.s. Will keep my fingers crossed for an egg sac!
Mr. Beastie... I had a fascination with large spiders, then became pretty fearful after all but losing my life to a black widow bite 20 years ago. With gratitude I can enjoy them from afar again... Your interactions and care calms me in a hard to explain fashion. I appreciate each notice I receive you have posted again. Keep up the love and compassion xo
The enclosure is on a completely different level to the other ones! It looks as though there isn’t any glass, the corners don’t have thick black sides, it is beautiful! Do you have any other ones? You definitely create the best enclosures on TH-cam, your ball is completely out of the park and is currently making its way into space!
Best stirmi build on TH-cam!!! That piece of wood is beautiful , the tank design is so simple but genius at the same time , great design great build , much love to camera lady she does amazing work
That enclosure is beautiful dave you done great job on it and spider look beautiful to fingers cross for egg sack when my spider really for a new enclosure you come do mine please lol love your channel
Hi Dave & Camera Lady hope all’s well. She’s a corker of a spider and such a lucky girl to have a special custom made enclosure. Here’s hoping all your plans will fall into place, and that she’s going to create an egg sac. ❤️ ❤️ 😘 🕷 xxx
OMG! That spider is HUGE! Sometimes you can't tell how big they actually are when you see them in their enclosure. Good luck guys. I hope she produces an egg sac. Also the new tank looks beautiful.
well what an enclosure that you have designed PROFF. Another fine project hopefully that will come to an exciting end. magical enormous spider. well done camera lady great video to watch. take care guys ,thanks
Hi 👋 there and that enclosure looks really smart and inviting! I hope your big girl will thrive in there ❤🕷 too and lay an eggsack! Interesting content as usual so thank you Dave and Sweet Camera Lady! Big hugs🥰❤🤗, Susanne.
I had a custom made hexagon aquarium made once for the Indian Ornamental Tarantula I kept back in the mid 1990's. It was about 3 feet high and 2 feet wide. She really seemed to enjoy the space and the almost "V" shaped wooden piece of decoration and corkbark, which was a long, circular piece that she would often hide in and ambush the prey items I provided! I really do miss keeping Tarantulas sometimes.
Ok so we don't want a reservoir, just really wet balls. Got it. LOL!!! Once again, a stunning grand enclosure for a stunning gorgeous T. You are gonna need a bigger Lazy Susan. I was terrified the whole time that the size difference was gonna cause the bottom to crack. Especially when you were pushing in the Ivy in the back corner that is floating in air. I am glad to see it was indeed tough enough. Fingers crossed for a baby sac. Thank you and Camera Lady for this awesome video. Eagerly awaiting the update. 🕷♥️
Dave you are an artist when it comes to the scaping of your enclosures.. I mean that absolutely sincerely. What a beautiful girl your stirmi is. Thank you Camera Lady, some wonderful shots of her! Good luck on her being gravid.

Very very nice enclosure and setup, that looks pretty amazing. Very natural. Im pretty sure she will settle in very quickly. As always top video, top footage. Thank you and camera lady. 👌👌👌👍
That spider looks just like that big ol' spider in the movie "Arachnophobia"
She really is an impressive spider.
Love how realistic and lush the enclosure turned out. As usual, well done.
Thank you 🙏
I'm always blown away when I see how big they get. That size makes up for the lack of colour.
