Thanks for taking us on a tour of the museum. As I was watching, I was going to ask if they still use the old building, and you answered that toward the end of the video. 👍
@@ThatGuyJunJun In a way, this museum set up reminds me a bit of the Columbus Museum of Art and its new (well, not sure how new it is now) more modern looking wing you toured several videos back. The mix of the old and newer-looking sections is an interesting contrast in styles. I'm glad in both cases they've preserved the old while adding modern spaces.
Wow Michele...I didn't even make that connection 😯. You're right, Columbus is set up the same way but in reverse where in Columbus the original building is still the main museum but with the new wing addition. You made me rewatch my own video! 😆 And yes I love old buildings. They have so much more character imo. They exist everywhere in Europe due to history...so seeing our historic buildings here continue to have purpose and life makes me happy.
@@ThatGuyJunJun LOL on rewatching your own video. You and I are in agreement about old buildings. One thing I loved about being on campus was walking across the Oval and realizing how long some of those buildings had been around. Not as old as Europe, but some built before 1900. This is off-topic, and you may not be looking for video ideas, but have you considered a tour inside the Wexner Center? It was built after I graduated, and I've never been inside. Not sure if they have exhibits or if there's a fee, but I thought of it when thinking about modern architecture while watching this video. Happy Thanksgiving!
@@MicheleF.-xt4mp I was going to do Wexner a few times before but never happened. I'll look out for an interesting exhibit next year and go! It's been a while since I've been in there also. 👍

@@MicheleF.-xt4mp yes...and I saw that the upper floors of the old building are staff area and offices. ⭐
