1952 Mercury Kiekhaefer DA211 2 man, 2 Cylinder 180cc Chainsaw Still gets it!

Bucking up the Giant Silver Maple that we cut down at the neighbors house earlier this year with The 1952 Mercury Kiekhaefer DA211 2 man saw. The old Girl performed flawlessly even in 95 degree weather, using every bit of the 4 foot bar. Great to see this old lady back working hard. These old galls had some serious snot in a cut. I have ran a old mercuy two man with 12 foot bar and it was a full body work out.

How far we have come.... One man saws were really coming on strong before the 50s were over. 1952 technology versus stuff only a few years later was like night and day.
