Should we do this challenge again?? We had so much fun with this. Also HUGE thanks to Disney Speedstorm for making this video possible! You can download today for FREE: ➡ gmlft.co/Purplecliffe-DS-YT ⬅ . I have not stopped playing this game since downloading it a few weeks ago! AND its on Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, AND PC! You can add me in game with my id: DS-271994
Man. The true hero here is the editor. For us VGC unknowledgeables, the pop-ups and the zoom-ins are very, very helpful. Made the video and the battle even more engaging. Thanks, man.
cliffe getting stopped by a fan at the end of the 30 minutes while his deck was at the table where it could be taken is the most horrifying part of the video
It was really fun to see Purplecliffe play TCG, especially since he seems to be SO GOOD and I don't know ANYTHING ABOUT IT. Really felt like an anime battle Yu-Gi-Oh style. :D I also liked the flex of Jack being so chill and cool with all of his fans. But not only he, but the vendors seemed super nice and friendly, too!
That was an awesome video! It was so much fun to watch and the suspense of who was going to win was so well done! Also cliffe sneakily showing cards to the camera had me dying of laughter so much
I'm not big into the card game but I still buy cards occasionally. I have no idea how to actually play but this video gave me a greater appreciation for the game and the community who support it. Great video and would love to watch more.
For a person who personally loves the pokemon tcg card game, Cliffe won that with skill because he was able to preserve his cards until the end to deal with the final blowout. Congrats, Cliffe, and I hope you continue to make more fun videos like this one!
i've watched this video at least like 20 times, why is this so good, like i used to watch one of his vids then move onto the next then never watch it again. jack please keep making videos as good as this one, you're an amazing youtuber, thanks for making my days better. also your editors are amazing, they need to get a raise.
Ok now, this is the first time in my life of playing Pokemon, I have seen a full TCG match, and it's amazing lol. It is as fun as the games, and now makes me really get into it lol.
This was such an AMAZING video!! I havent played TCG in like, 10 years, and this gave me such a RUSH. It reminded me how much fun TCG was and makes me want to play again :,)
This is totally like the Path To Peak episode, but in real life=3 Sick! Haven't played TCG since X/Y or Sun/Moon. This battle was awesome and now I want to play again=3
I genuinely loved this video. I’ve been collecting for over half my life but never learned to play. Seeing people collecting and playing is so fun. Also a bit jealous, those card boxes look so cool.
This is a crazy good video idea and you should definitely do it again (Edit) Jack when he plays Pokémon TCG 🧠 Jack when he does anything else literally fucking brain dead
Yo this was awesome. Super well explained for anyone who doesn’t know tcg. Fun way to spice up the challenge would be most expensive vs least expensive deck. Both players build decks, one is max rarity with most expensive cards, and the other is min rarity of the cheapest meta deck. Probably like some arceus deck vs sablezard maybe?
More of this kinda video, it's an absolute blast. As a competitive player, it's so fun to watch the different knowledge levels. Best video from you in a while, at least to me. Keep it up!!
This was amazing!! I'm currently trying to get into the tcg and this vid was great as a starting point, as well as super fun and entertaining! Would love to see more like it in the future!! P.S. ur awesome
That looked like so much fun, never seen anyone play the card game and you could tell they both had fun making the video. Also he sounded so sad at the end, idk why but it made me chuckle
It seems like such a small thing, but they are clearly big enough to be recognised and yet Cliffe still makes it a point to greet fans and chat to them. Even as far as losing on a trade to make sure someone gets fun cards.
Mew VMAX is disgustingly strong, especially since you can (potentially) draw up to *_24_* cards per turn. It also doesn’t help that you have access to pretty much every type of attack in the game.
This video was awesome!! Really really makes me want to get back into playing the TCG again! I aso didn’t realize Purplecliffe was THAT DUDE in the Pokémon tcg. 😳
Tbh, when the video came out I had no desire to watch it because I never played the tcg, just collected some as a kid. But a wacky turn of events has led to me trying to learn the tcg, and this video helped to hype me up about learning the game. I normally don't comment, but I want to prove to the algorithm that this video is good and I want to see more like it.
Wow, this brings me back to when I ran a Pokemon league for a year. I think it was during the X & Y series but it was so much fun. I hate that the store went debunk a few years later but those memories were great nonetheless
Jack we talked at this tourney and I mentioned I had been watching since the super early ptcgo days. Still waiting for weeb Sundays to come back! Love you and your content buddy!
I can’t with this video. My son wants to start learning the Pokemon tcg so this has really helped me understand. I had no idea about the card types so I should be able to help him better if I can afford some cards for him 😅 then you come in with speedstorm sponsor 😍 and this became the best video ever 😂
Jack used to play Pokémon tcg online I’m his streams almost every time he streamed. Back before he blew up on TikTok and switched to TH-cam. He’s definitely in his element here.
omg; this was such a fun video! would love to see more of these :) also, i may as well pick up on playing the tcg again, i just miss playing it and would love to do so again. the site you shared is very helpful!
Where's all this skill in the YLYL series? 😂 I kid of course. Really nice to see Purple killing it with his TCG roots. Would love to see more content like this.
Should we do this challenge again?? We had so much fun with this. Also HUGE thanks to Disney Speedstorm for making this video possible! As a person who built their own deck I would like to see more of this type video
Definitely.
yes!!! you havent done anything pokemon card for a while so it would be pretty cool if you did it again
Yes do this again! Could maybe do it with other Poketubers? That would be awesome!!!
absolutely!
Man. The true hero here is the editor. For us VGC unknowledgeables, the pop-ups and the zoom-ins are very, very helpful. Made the video and the battle even more engaging. Thanks, man.
Dude seriously. I felt that that was the clearest explanation about TCG I've ever seen. It actually kinda makes sense, which is insane to me.
What does VGC it mean?

ukena = very epic editor
Jack looks genuinely happy throughout this entire vid, you can tell he had a blast making it

The way Phanny sprinted over for that Arven when he found out who was paying 😂 hope there’s more content like this in the pipeline!
Jack’s Credit Card FTW!!!
As someone who doesn't understand the rules
that battle was awesome
Lmao😂
Agreed 😂
true
As someone who understands the rules the game wasn’t great. But their mood fixed it all.
As a magic player, I now understand how it feels to watch someone play when you don’t know the rules. Really awesome video!
As a magic player myself I felt the same way 😂
cliffe getting stopped by a fan at the end of the 30 minutes while his deck was at the table where it could be taken is the most horrifying part of the video

yeah he actually started with the tcg. pokemon tcg online. I used to talk to him as a fellow streamer.
@Neakenator I've been to a bunch of Pokémon Regionals, and every single person I've met at them has been super chill and nice lol, it's a blast
So cool running into you guys the day before Peoria! Such a great video :)
Jack genuinely sounds excited when talking about Disney Speedstorm, props to him
This is a awesome idea. Hope to see it again
True
This was such a fun video. I've never played the card game but this was sooooo fun to watch. Purplecliff stopping to talk to a fan was spool sweet
Can we have more tcg videos? It looks like you had a lot of fun making this one and i would love to watch more
Absolutely a banger video to watch, Sam was totally cooked off that first turn being so bad XD
I can't say I ever really cared about the TCG, but you made that look easy to understand and super fun!
Great vid! Best part was Jack randomly meeting fans every time he was in a rush 😂
As a TCG fan this was a super fun change of pace in the channel, would love to see a video of u tryna complete a full set sometime!
13:57 W for deck savior
We need more tcg deck building content man this is so exciting
I love how even when Jack is in a rush, he still is the kindest human being ever. God bless.❤
For a person who personally loves the pokemon tcg card game, Cliffe won that with skill because he was able to preserve his cards until the end to deal with the final blowout. Congrats, Cliffe, and I hope you continue to make more fun videos like this one!
Seeing a person in their element where they have the knowledge for it is just a treat to watch! ♥
I’ve never had any interest in tcg in the slightest, so this video just shows how entertaining cliffe is to make me watch the whole thing!

As someone who plays the pokemon tcg competitively, u guys played fairly well. 👍
As a fellow miridon player this was fun to watch it working love how aggressive the deck is

This is sooooo good. Its nice to see cliff back in the tcg scene
This is like a wholesome Kenny VS Spenny episode and just as fun. A tier content
Would honestly watch a TCG stream sometime! As someone who regularly plays the card game, this was a really fun watch.
Jack ive watched this like 4 times now and i love it the idea and actual payoff is great really hoping to see another one of these in the future
I would love to see more purplecliffe playing the TCG
This was a cool concept! I really liked the video and you look like you had fun making it!
I used to be a regular back when you played tcg on twitch with 90 viewers glad to see you having so much fun with the tcg again 😊
As a former shiny hunter, turned vgc player, then turned tcg player, your channel has been serotonin for so long. Thank you Mr.PurpleCliffe.
Ok now, this is the first time in my life of playing Pokemon, I have seen a full TCG match, and it's amazing lol. It is as fun as the games, and now makes me really get into it lol.

Clif "call an ambulance" pulls out gvn "but not for me"
This format was honestly so fun to watch. I dont play the pokemon tcg, but definitely a good watch.
This is totally like the Path To Peak episode, but in real life=3 Sick! Haven't played TCG since X/Y or Sun/Moon. This battle was awesome and now I want to play again=3
No TCG video I have ever watched has had this much production value or energy please keep it up
This video is so amazing. And i'm flashed that he stopped for his fans every time without rushing it ❤
I genuinely loved this video.

That’s was so cool man. Definitely should do this again. The enjoyment you had the whole video was amazing!
Watching these kinds of videos made me want to make decks for my family
Damn, that fusion strike technique is nutty!
Dude this video was amazing I went in blind in the tag and now I actually can play love you man❤
Man just love your content. Congrats on 1million
It’s sick to see cliffe play the game he’s actually fantastic at and knows about
this video made me so happy to see u doing TCG content, I started off watching you showcasing decks on PTCGO. Such nostalgia
The mew deck is actually buyable I literally bought it for 14$ at a Game Stop a few weeks ago.
Daaaaaaaaamn Jack you were destroying him. Not even a sweat. I personally really love watching the TCG so this was just an awesome video.
He started out in the TCG scene! ☺️ I'm glad that he is showing his talents!
This is easily the one of the best videos you have ever made. Please make more videos like this.
Tbh, when the video came out I had no desire to watch it because I never played the tcg, just collected some as a kid. Even if I didn’t know a thing about the TCG id still enjoy this video, you explained everything better than most other tcg competitors could
I played the online version of the TCG and I was still a little confused, but that looked like a lot of fun! I'm glad you had fun!!
One of the best video ideas I have seen
This may look late but happy 1 million subs, Jack!
This was fantastic Jack, we need more card videos like this!!
Never watched a video like this before and it was awesome. Amazing job explaining a TCG battle to those like me who haven’t competed
Wow, this brings me back to when I ran a Pokemon league for a year. I think it was during the X & Y series but it was so much fun. I hate that the store went debunk a few years later but those memories were great nonetheless
Cliff taking the time to sign stuff and take pictures is so heartwarming. Makes me like him more haha
Jack we talked at this tourney and I mentioned I had been watching since the super early ptcgo days. Still waiting for weeb Sundays to come back! Love you and your content buddy!
I know absolutely nothing about the TCG, but it looks like you guys were having a lot of fun!
This video is so well done I can't stop myself from watching it over and, over again.
as someone who has no idea how the tcg works i can confirm that i had no idea what was going on but i watched the video for fun
i didnt want to watch this video at first bc i THOUGHT i wouldnt like TCG stuff. DUDE this was so cool. you really changed my mind here
Bro all the vendors in this video are the best
So much joy and personality, Pokemon fans warm my heart
Honestly, I never thought I would be into the Pokémon TCG… now I want more videos like this. Might even try and learn to play the damn thing.
absolutely loved seeing actual tcg gameplay, as someone who loves playing it i think people that know how to play are a dying breed atp lmao
10:10 I love this community how they just are automatically best friends in a second
Purplecliffe brain during regular vids: 1%
Purplecliffe brain during a TCG battle: 1000%
These are so much fun!
Is it weird if this taught me more about playing the Pokémon TCG than a lot of other stuff I’ve tried to look at
I can’t with this video. My son wants to start learning the Pokemon tcg so this has really helped me understand. I had no idea about the card types so I should be able to help him better if I can afford some cards for him 😅 then you come in with speedstorm sponsor 😍 and this became the best video ever 😂
Straight to the point, fun, friendly and funny! Subscribed!
Whatching Cliff with his fans is so awesome he dropped everything for a photo for whoever asked what a chad
Bro I had no clue what was happening through the entire battle, but god was it hype.
this was really fun to watch i love the chaos of trying to find what the vendors have
As someone who plays a different TCG but loves pokemon, this was a super fun video!
Absolutely my favorite Pokémon TCG video ever
Where's all this skill in the YLYL series? 😂 I kid of course. Really nice to see Purple killing it with his TCG roots. Would love to see more content like this.
That was hilarious, purplecliffe flipped the game with 2 cards lol
Sam would've won if you didn't cheat him out of the first electric energy :(
Can we all agree this is one of the most nerdy moments of Jack but still this vid was so cool to see
