    For anyone looking for review later on. This box still holds up amazing to competitors in this space. It's still my weekly driver for my modern and legacy tournaments. Bringing 2 double sleeved decks and my dice and 12 tokens is absolutely great. Definitely a weekly driver deckbox

      Thanks! Can second this! Going on 3 years now, 1-2 game nights weekly, no issues.

    The removable flap system is so nice. Best feature to be honest. Tables get crowded and when its this vs a deck box that unravels and stretches across the table i will choose this.

      Agreed! Also nice that you can attach them to the back so you don’t lose them!
      Liking it so much I’m also thinking of getting the watchtower 100+ too... will review if I get it!

      Just some MTG. Recently moved countries and got back into it to meet some new people. First time ever playing edh and it's a blast.

    Do you think it can hold 100 double sleeved dragon shield inner and outer sleeves? My ultimate guard wouldn't do it comfortably.

    • @befrontcg
      @befrontcg  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t use Dragonshield outer sleeves (only inner), but I think it should be fine. GameGenic are also pretty thick, and they fit, no problem.
      I am thinking of switching to DS though, maybe in a couple months when my GG sleeves wear out. I can let you know how that is when I try it.

    Does the center tray hold single perfect size sleeved cards or standard size sleeve cards for tokens?

    • @befrontcg
      @befrontcg  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, definitely, even Pokemon/MTG cards in regular sleeves (i.e. not perfect fits) will fit in the center part. Some brands of penny sleeves I've noticed are a little too big, but you can still fold them in there, but all your major sleeve brands (Dragon Shield, Ultra Pro, Game Genic, etc., even sleeves that come in MTG/Pokemon bundles) all fit in there no problem - whether or not cards are double sleeved.
      I can get about 35-40 cards in there if they're sleeved, or about double that (70-80 cards) unsleeved.

    Would toploaders fit if you took out the middle drawer?

    • @befrontcg
      @befrontcg  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey yea, that’s a great idea, I never thought of that. Anyway, I just tried it, and definitely a *perfect* fit. They slide in and out easily, but not much extra space, so they don’t shake around. Really nice. I was able to fit a stack of 19 in there comfortably, could probably do 20 if you really forced it.

      @@befrontcg well that's a potential game changer right there. I keep my toploaders in bags that leave an extra mm or two of room on the sides, is it THAT precise that I would have issues there?

    • @befrontcg
      @befrontcg  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea, I think that’s worth an updated video! Yea, any kind of plastic/cellophane bag should be fine. I use team bags, and they around my top loaders in the compartment.

    What inner sleeves / outer sleeves are you using? Are they KMC Perfect Hards?

    • @befrontcg
      @befrontcg  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Tyler, when I filmed this, I was actually using a combination of GameGenic inner sleeves, and Dragonshield side-load inner sleeves. I generally like regular (opening on the top) sleeves better since they provide better protection, but for some cards that I know I will need to switch to different decks (and therefore change sleeves) I use the side-loads, since those are easier to get in/out, without the inner sleeve coming off.
      However, recently I started using KMC, because they offer both types (GameGenic only has top-opening inners, while KMC has top and side), at better prices (dragonshield, as always, is $$$).
      Overall, I don’t really see a difference in performance in any of the three brands. If I were playing in official tournaments, I suppose I would have to make sure my deck uses all the same, just to be safe, but from what I can tell, the inner sleeve has 0 impact on the appearance, of the outer sleeve, so I can’t “read” the cards via their backs.
      Only minor difference is that I think the KMC’s have a *very* slightly looser fit - a little extra plastic hangs over the edge of the cards, so if you’re super picky about it, I’d probably go with GG or DS, but again, from what I can tell, it doesn’t seem to have an impact on the performance of the sleeve, and doesn’t seem to have impact on overall thickness.
      The outer sleeves are all GameGenic Prime Matte. I believe the color is called “Lime”.
      Anyway, sorry for the essay, but hope that’s helpful!

    Can this fit cards with character inner sleeves and thick outers?

    • @befrontcg
      @befrontcg  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup. I use dragonshield inner and outer on my 100 card commander decks and they fit perfectly.

    • @hahahahahohohoho5085
      @hahahahahohohoho5085 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@befrontcg I am talking about character sleeves with transparent outers to guard the pictured sleeves inside. If this box is a tight fit with dragonshield sleeves as it seems in videos, it likely won't fit sadly.

    Do mini snap holders fit?

    • @befrontcg
      @befrontcg  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t tried it with those, though I doubt it, there isn’t a lot of space in either direction after putting the cards in.
      Can you send me a link to the snap holders? I can try to get one and try it out.
