Now I'm imagining an alternate version of Painwheel that's in a delirious "valley girl living a valley life" state to prevent the pain getting in the way of combat effectiveness... save for the occasional moment where the pain and the horror and everything just comes crashing down on the Valley Girl mind control unit, temporarily shorting it and she turns into "normal" screaming, raging Painwheel that just wants the pain to stop.
