Seems Rotterdam has a secret Dr. Martens museum! Thar's quite the Collection Maaike. Well maintained, they can last almost a lifetime. My favourite pair ark the dark brown crazy horse ones.
I have had my oldest pair nearly 15 years now and still going strong. I do feel the classic pairs are longerlasting than the more fashion forward ones.
I watched this video the other day and promptly ordered 2 pairs of Docd! 😂 Blue velvet 1460- love them Black 1460 with roses embroidered up the side. Thanks for the inspo!! 😅
What are your tips for breaking new docs in? I had a pair of classic 1460s years ago that i could never break in which i eventually got rid of. Then in the last few years i got two pairs (jadon boot and bex oxford) and im almost scared to wear them because i remember the pain the last ones caused lol
A playing card on the inside of your sock (vertically) to protect the back of your heel and sticking duct tape on the inside of the shoe where they rub. For tightness round the toes I recommend putting on the shoes in your home when they are new wearing 2 - 3 pairs of thick socks so they are super tight. Then use a hairdryer to warm up the leather and warm around in your home while wearing the shoes. This will stretch out the shoe.
Do you know when they have their sales? Is it usually the same time every year? I have 3 styles with the taller heel. What is your shoe size in general? I am a half size normally, and don’t like the sizing issues I have had with Dr. Martens, though I do love the shoes. 🙂
They have a sale section that updates every few months. They usually refresh the sale twice a year and take stock down for a while but usually bring it back once the new sale period ends unless it has sold out. I am a size 37 EU, UK 4 and Women's size 7 in the US.
Vind dat wel een grappig woord, vegan leer. Dat is gewoon plastic 😂😂 Ik heb alleen een paar zwarte leren pascal virginia, dat zijn de enige die me lekker zitten.
