When you're working under that old truck doing honest work, and athletes, actors, politicians and billionaires are complaining, I think is a testament to how screwed up things have gotten! Thanks for what you do! thanks for dragging the camera along too, so we can watch and learn.

i got the tiger tool u joint press...i love it. i just bought the set for the medium duty trucks as well. i have been hit in the chest a few times dropping the drive shaft. now i use a small ratchet strap to hold it up as i remove the carrier bearing bolts. once i am out from under it, i release the strap and let it down. wow! that clutch is horrible.

Hello there warran. People need some work to make them realize what life is all about and get in the real world. I worked for myself for over 30 year's and I hadn't time to Moen about what everyone else was doing in the world. I'm retired now though ill health. I help a friend he repairs things like you. I'm 66 and my friend Tommy is 79years old. Even at our time in life there's not enough hours in the day. We appreciate what you do.

Years ago I drove a box truck for a food company, worked one week end, and had to use a different truck. Got in and started the truck, the music was so loud it would run you out of the cab. I asked the normal driver why the music was so loud, he said the noise coming out of the dash was bothering him. So I told him check the engine coolant, and the low coolant alarm would stop.

Love the title! Maybe instead of "slave" cylinder we're going to have to refer to it as a "freedom repressed" cylinder....😁 . Like an earlier commentor (silverado765) said, "you think exactly the same way most people do." Now if those people would get out and vote and then make those persons elected be accountable for their actions - everything would eventually straighten out...we didn't get to where we are overnight and there won't be an overnight fix. These "social scientists" have run rampant for far too long - America needs to get back to the " common" things like common sense, common courtesy, common decency, and start respecting the Constitution.

You don't need to pull the mounts off the trans bell housing to get it down. Using the tilt adjustments on your trans jack, you should be able to raise the right side and drop the left side enough to be able to slide the left mount out from the frame rail, move the trans jack to the left and then you will have enough room to lower the entire thing down.

Sure looks like they didn't keep the pressure plate adjusted either. I have never seen them torn up that bad. Sounds like he would be better off with an Allison 754 in there but it would be a lot of work to change it over. I did a Brigadier years ago in an old Yellow freight road tractor being rebuilt as a trash truck. It had an NTC400 Big cam III in it. I stretched the frame and installed tandems. My stepfather tried to use some old parts from other trucks and got burned when it would only go 45 mph because the rear axle set had the wrong gearing. He never found time to do it right the first time but in the end, had to do it over the way I had suggested in the beginning. Oh well it can be an adventure to get to the finish line.
