I feel like the only way to explain Silk Sonic is "Modern Motown". I'm obsessed.

I think I'm pregnant with twins.... Lil Anderson and Brunetta....all jokes aside, this song was deep and Anderson set it off with that raspy sexy voice and Bruno brought it home with that smoothness....I need more of this in my life!!!

Anderson’s voice just melted by heart. He has so much soul and funk….old school

You are one of the few young men doing reactions that I respect because you appreciate real music. That is from a 70s OG, Ya'll making us proud.......

‘Vinyl players’…..thas good! We shoulda had you back in the ‘70’s bruh. We was busy callin them record players. 😂 One song it kinda reminds me of in the beginning was a sing by artist named Luther Ingram called, ‘If Lovin You Is Wrong, I Don’t Wanna Be Right’. By now I’m sure you know that not only is that Bootsy at the beginning of this song, the album is hosted by him & it’s Bootsy himself who named the band, Silk Sonic. A cool thing of the live appearances they’ve done is that there’s always a twist either vocally or in the arrangement, & they take it to another level live, hit it harder. By the way, they had some help on this track. Bruno clalled Babyface in to get his feedback. He told them where to modulate (key change), and he sang background with them. Only thing, like a few folks, you pause right before the ‘killer note’. Thas what Bruno have peeps doin. Cool reaction anyway! 👍🏾

My favorite from the album. Anderson Paak went crazy on the drums! Also, we know you were just asking a question bro. It's almost like you can't even ask a questions anymore. Great reaction!

It’s like as if Bobby Womack and Prince made an album together . Paak and Mars are the dynamic duo of this time. There have been only a few perfect albums, but this is definitely one of them.

Great reaction to the best song on the album. It evokes the emotional response that one gets when listening to Brook Benton’s 1970 masterpiece, A Rainy Night In Georgia.

Deondre. Couple of things. One loved your reaction. Love loved loved it! It was appreciated by a person who loves good music instruments arrangements etc. you obviously know the genre by the groups you named. But don’t sleep on AWB Bloodstone the Intruders the Spinners and the Moments. Add them to your research. Bruno is saluting celebrating and giving homage to the music he grew up on. Respect to that. he is also an awesome live performer and music. His whole squad is. And the sentiment of the song??? Please!! If you have ever been in this situation? He nailed it. Back in the day the recording was just a taste. The live show was the real test of talent. Not no more! These live shows now are a joke. We need to just sit back and enjoy someone bringing back a time when music was music. Keep the reactions coming.

🤔🤦🏾‍♀️ You know all those old school groups yet you called a record player a "vinyl player"? Da heck. Are you that young or am I at 43 that old. A "vinyl player"? I just wanted to jump in a shallow hole and cover myself in dirt after you said that. I'm like, am I vintage? This guy is old enough to have on a wedding band but he doesn't know it's called a record player? Did I skip a decade and not know it? Thanks for making feel ancient. Great reaction, thanks for sharing 😁.
