- In this particular video.... we deal with fog and rain which make for dangerous driving conditions. We finally make it to our destination and find a strange but interesting cemetery in the parking lot of Walmart, we also take a walk around Kerrville, Texas to find a beautiful secluded area next to the river.
Welcome to my channel PandaMonium. My name is Ausia and my dog's name is Moo-moo... my rig is the Lucky Panda, a 28ft 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun towing a 2008 Chevy Colorado or sometimes a trailer and 2014 Can-Am Maverick 4 wheeler. I live full-time in a motorhome off the grid with 700ah of Battle Born lithium batteries and 600 watts of solar. My channel is about traveling in my RV to different locations across the U.S. with various friends that I call my tribe, where we camp, hike, bike, paddle board, 4 wheel, go to events and venues, eat at different resturants and explore new places. Certain times of the year I'm at my homestead in Williams the high desert of northern Arizona where we are working on projects, homesteading, gardening and try to practice permaculture and being self-reliant. We stayed a month in Kerrville. There were deer all over in the RV Park we stay. One night, Dan opened the door, and there was a deer right by the RV door. Both the deer & Dan jumped our dog tried take off after the deer.

Good video, glad you've made it safely through the fog. We laughed out loud at Kellogg running on his hind legs for the deer. Moo Moo knows how to travel, wrapped up in a blanket, cozy and napping. 😁😁😎😎👍👍

From a distance it looked like a Great White Pyrenees dog! We have 3 of them & they're the best dogs ever!! I pray it had just momentarily wandered away from it's owner!!

Ran across your videos a few weeks ago, but this last week on your travels sure brought back my memory of driving from CA/Az boarder to Houston a few yrs ago, and the thrill my sister got when I told her I was going through San Antonio and would stop at her place for the night!! Got there in the early afternoon and stopped by her job (Restaurant) surprising her!! Such a beautiful drive it was! Thank you for recording and sharing!! I truly miss being OTR EXPEDITE driving a van!!

Wish we’d known earlier you were gonna be so close. Would have loved to meet up. Kerrville is about 30 minutes away from us. We often take the RV to Schreiner park there. Glad you got to see the beautiful Guadalupe River. And yes, we are having an oddly wet fall going into winter. It’s the El Niño.

Great paronees They're guardian lifestalk dogs. They wonder everywhere. Especially if they don't really have anything to guard. They just wander everywhere my mom had 2 of them. We couldn't keep them in for nothing. Love traveling with you. It's so relaxing thank you hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving❤❤
Great Pyrenees are great guardians, but also make wonderful family dogs with training. I have one and he is my baby!

I really enjoyed the ride along. That area of Texas is really nice and so many places to go to. Not to far is a place called A Cave With No Name. It's not as big as some that I've been. One further out west I 10 in Sonora there is a cavern as well as have been to that one also. I sure hope the weather gets better so y'all have a great time. It is to rain here and hope it doesn't until I get finished at the doctors tomorrow. I'm sure your at your sisters by now as videos behind. Enjoyed seeing Kerrville. Hugs to Moo moo and have fun.
Hopefully, someone from this area will see this video and go out to save that dog. Sad to see him out there by himself and so near the road.
In such a hot, and dry area of the country I'm sure they cherish every drop of moisture that they can get since they really need it. It IS that time of year. It won't hurt you.
About the pretty family cemetery, when it was established there probably wasn't anything around except open farmland/countryside. I think it's beautiful.

Kellogg is just like this little dog I used to take care of. Johnny was part corgie and when he would see a rabbit he would just about take my arm off. I had to spin to wrap the leash around my waist. Small but mighty!

That rest stop's replica stage station was probably depicting staff quarters, stable and refreshment stop for any passengers to keep out of the weather. When in TX, do watch grass and think fire ants, chiggers, or ticks in un-mown wilder spots. We lived in E. TX a few years decades ago.

When visiting Texas, we found that the people fed the deer 🦌. There was a baby one just born. We sure enjoyed it. The humidity left us breathing hard.

Can you imagine riding the Stage coach from TX to Ca? Very bumpy!
Our very first "blow-out" on our 5th wheel happened half way between Fort Stockton and El Passo. We were out in the middle of no-where. I grabbed a rock to shock the wheels and it was full of sea shell fossils.
It look like a great Pyrenees. Usually they’re used for livestock guardians.

I think you were looking at the road and trying to get through safely. It’s normal to concentrate on what’s close when driving and that’s all of the excuses for not seeing the trailer I can think of😂.

A couple days ago was long heavy rains here in not-always-sunny Florida. Now it gets chilly for a couple days. Then more rain! Typical Florida winter. 😊

Aussia, regarding alligators and Texas; The American alligator is common in swamps, rivers, bayous, and marshes of the southern U.S., including the eastern third of Texas. While typically found in fresh-water, they can tolerate brackish water as well. Formerly an endangered species, the alligator is now a protected game animal in Texas.

The huge, white, dog, looks like a Great Pyrenees. They are a livestock guardian breed and are working dogs. Pyrs are known for roaming. There are a few of other big, white livestock guardian breeds so it might possibly have been one of them. Either way, it likely belongs to a ranch in the area.

I live in Central Texas 60 miles north of Austin Texas and it happens quite a bit in the morning times fall and winter!! The fog!!

Ausia, I believe back in 1800's Walmart didn't have a store..Cemeteries are not normally moved , society and progress simply has to build around them.. Highways often are seen to 'go around' a cemetery.

Very foggy
When traveling long distance, I keep track of the La Nina & El Nino weather patterns. We're currently in a heavy El Nino, which means rainy, freezing, snowy weather in the southern states. Also be cautious when using pet friendly areas such as dog parks, pet stores, etc. The entire US is going through a pet pandemic, even for fully vaxed dogs. Kennel cough is on a steep rise, although it will make your dog sick, it will not kill them. There's a new strain of Parvo that is very aggressive even for vaccinated dogs, lethargy, vomiting and diarrhea are all signs of Parvo, seek medical attention immediately, Parvo kills. The last one is new this year, there's no name, no real cure, & so far no vaccine or treatment for it. The closest the vets have come to identifying it is a form of pneumonia. Watch out for dogs coughing, this can go on for weeks before it turns to a critical form of pneumonia. Please be cautious and safe travels to you, Moo Moo, Jeff & Kellogg. I'll keep you 4 in my prayers

Yes @ deb7518. It's been so bad all over the USA this year, i feel the need to spread the word to my favorite youtube creators. I don't often comment, but I've been watching Panda Monium for years. Since way back before Scott & Teri from Destination Open Road had that open gathering at their old house/property in Washington. I think that was 2017 or 18. I would be just heartbroken if anything happened to thier pets, as pets are family, I have 4 dachshunds and 1 cat that I travel with. But this year I have chosen to stay stationary due to this pet pandemic.

@@rvpandamonium I used to watch a lot of the nomads years ago, but don't have a clear recollection of everything. I looked through his videos, and found only one from five years ago, in some deserty looking boondocking place, with Ross, Randy the Mobile Traveler, Bex the Cat Herder, and Caravan Carolyn, and of course Mr. JD's World himself. Through the fog of my memories, I just assumed you all knew each other :)
