All leading up to that ending. Boy that ending. There are also aspects of Cocona that resonated with me.

Oh my goodness, I just remembered this anime and song. Haven't seen it in a long time, will have to rewatch! I was 13 when I saw this show, when it was airing. I remember specifically when I watched one of the last episodes because of the circumstances. My family and I had been hit by a hurricane and were living in a travel trailer loaned to us by some family members, in our driveway. I specifically remember watching Flip Flappers in that trailer. I don't know why the memory is so vivid? But it is. I watched this with my mom later on, and she enjoyed it :) I've got a friend who's the same age I was when I saw this for the first time, I've already sent it to her. Once we finally rebuild where our house once stood, I think it would be nice to rewatch this in my new room. Someday P.S. I had this set as my alarm music for school for a LONG time, and now whenever I hear the beginning of the song my brain skips a little and I get a little, brief energy rush. Kind of annoying, but its what I get for waking up to this for... probably over a year.
This whimsical ending song perfectly encompasses the beauty of this anime. I have only seen one episode of it, just yesterday, and I already think it's one of my favorites. Gorgeous art style, beautiful fluidity and excellent acting. And a bunch of sexual tension. I have not watched an anime this good in a very long time and it may very well replace my favorite if it continues going down the path it has paved. Highly recommend it, despite being an early viewer.

I know this is an old comment but to anyone reading this who hasn't watched the show, I can confirm the anime goes so hard this song is just a teaser. I don't want to spoil it so I'll just say this: you must watch the show in its entirety. I can't tell you why but the 3 episode rule doesn't work here. You still might not like it but by the end you'll understand why.

Although in last episode pure illusion it seems lost, but body and anatomy will change and adapt to pure illusion (like the rabbit episode). Also, Mimi states it's not a farewell, so there's a high chance they can still access pure illusion
@@olavikorpi8269 i wasn't familiar with this singer, and from what I saw on MyAnimeList, she is listed in the production of the Flip Flappers ED as 'Theme Song Composition'. Since the anime was released i fall in love the ED by it's unique style. I really loved her style, so magical, i can't even explain my feelings.
Surprisingly never had a gripe with any character at the end. Was probably the most satisfying to watch and not have anything frustrating in the end still stand.
If you don't want to do drugs but want the experience I recommend this anime XD In fact no matter what i recommend it, where the fuck else do you get Mad max, fairy tales, magical girls, mech fights, lesbian love, and all the colors of the rainbow. Oh and they also touch on dealing with loved ones having dementia. I feel like this was the raw concentrated ingredients for anime, but somone forgot to mix it up with water, and now we got 13 eps of pure illusion XD

This whimsical ending song perfectly encompasses the beauty of this anime. I have only seen one episode of it, just yesterday, and I already think it's one of my favorites. Gorgeous art style, beautiful fluidity and excellent acting.
And a bunch of sexual tension.
I have not watched an anime this good in a very long time and it may very well replace my favorite if it continues going down the path it has paved. Highly recommend it, despite being an early viewer.

I don't want to spoil it so I'll just say this: you must watch the show in its entirety. I can't tell you why but the 3 episode rule doesn't work here. You still might not like it but by the end you'll understand why.

@@chorki4801 not really sure about that. That pink haired doctor is still there and not insane like the pure illusion counterpart. Also, Cocona's amorphous seems to haven't loss yet. Although in last episode pure illusion it seems lost, but body and anatomy will change and adapt to pure illusion (like the rabbit episode). Also, Mimi states it's not a farewell, so there's a high chance they can still access pure illusion

Since the anime was released i fall in love the ED by it's unique style. I really loved her style, so magical, i can't even explain my feelings.
