@@Tacdelio no but dead man switch is 30 seconds and repressed alliance too so the killer is giving for you free perk ;) also dead man switch counter itself gen kick perks like pop and is easy to counter itself so isn't a problem
As far as i know that is NOT true. The blocked gen will est the painrez (even has the animation) without losing progress, so the painrez is just wasted. Its even better paired with sabotage which shows u the pain rez hooks and helps figuring out when to use it
Hi mmr killers don't bother using lethal as they already have enough game knowledge to find survivors without the aura help. Another reason why is because nemesis is a dlc killer
As a killer main, I would this is a really strong counter (for pop specifically) when you’re in the end game if you’re last gens are spread out, as a good killer will just run to the nearest gen while pop is still up so using it on a gen way out will make that harder to utilize. Though I feel you’re probably fighting against a more mobile killer if they are running pop, as they can utilize it best.
RA is a fun perk and probably the most intuitive its ever been due to the survivor hud giving you a chance to understand if your gen is going to be the pain res target.
Right and they continue to ponder why most killers refuse to use any other perks that they half ass buffed just so they can break a nonexistent meta when it isn’t even a meta it’s a necessity to most of us
@@johncabrera9745 legit all they need to do is give us 10% kicks and nerf actual regression then cut every gen perk in half and then bam no one will really need a gen perk if they do it’ll be one
Please do NOT use this perk to counter pain resonance. Repressed alliance blocks the gen for 30 seconds AND shows its location to the killer, while pain resonance only gets rid of 18 seconds worth of gen progress
Omg guess what u can go to another gen in that tome and therefore dont lose 30 seconds 😱 its great for highly contested gens, especially when the killer is trying to get the painrez in to specifically make that generator regress
@klapsendoc06xd60 But why though 😭 you'd have to move back and forth to finish the gen you were working on, so you are losing time actually. Not to mention that you're literally giving the killer free info on which gens to defend and kick 😭 At that point, just take the damn pain resonance and finish the damn gen, because once a gen is finished, it can't get regressed at all anymore
Maybe it was an old bug, but i belive surge goes through the entity's blocks. It wont regress while the claws are up but it will take the initial 8% damage
No, think about it. A survivor willingly not doing a gen for about a minute is more of a time waster than just taking the pain res. Because pain res only loses the survivor about 20 seconds to do a gen while the perk makes the survivor lose more time plus the fact that they aren't doing a gen. So basically that means as one survivor is on a hook, that repressed Alliance survivor is doing nothing for the team unless that survivor wants to go for the save, so that's 2 survivors not doing gens. And by the time the survivor is going for the save, chances are you'll be in a chase with someone so that would be at least 3-4 ppl not doing gens at all
i feel like pain res should target the next highest gen if the current highest is blocked by entity. basically while blocked its removed from the target pool. I never use it though so 🤷♂️
Repressed alliance only stops that one gen for 30 sec Meaning if they do painres, it will just go to the 2nd most progressed gen and then proceed to pop it later on Or if they are really desprate, wait it out
Pain Res doesn't work like that. It's only gonna affect the highest progressed gen, and if it's blocked by the entity, nothing will happen to that gen since it's blocked. No other gens are affected unless that other gen is higher than the original gen being blocked
It's better to take the pain res instead of blocking a gen for more time. Repressed Alliance blocks a gen for about a minute (a minute being like 30-40 seconds, I don't remember) while a pain res would only chop off about 20 seconds. And trust me, as a survivor you'd rather take the 20 seconds of slowdown from the killer instead of the 40 seconds of preventing yourself from doing a gen. That would be 2 survivors not doing gens since one is on hook and the other prevented themselves from doing a gen. As well as if the killer did have Pop, it lasts about 60 seconds before you can't use it so that means repressed Alliance is useless against that
You're literally better off getting off the gen to not scream instead of revealing the gen you're working on to the killer because gens blocked by the entity shows to everyone including the killer a white aura. And that type of info is very helpful to a killer
Aye, I'll take a survivor willingly not doing gens for a minute while i chase a 3rd person basically already giving me slowdown since one guy is on a hook, one guy is being chased, one is going for the save, and that one singular survivor with repressed alliance thinking they're smart when they started it from the beginning
Basically you have 4 tokens for pain res. The perk activates when a token is consumed. A token is only consumed the first time you hook each survivor on a pain res hook. Basically you have 4 uses of pain res, one for each time you hook a survivor on your pain res hook the first time.
I've been seeing a lot of repressed alliance lately. I just ignore it and go do something else productive. I use eruption as my gen regression perk. Mainly because it's the only one I have currently 😂
It used to be good, but they decided not to buff it when the 3-gen update came out, so now it only works four times per gen which is pretty bad when there are perks that give way more regression for less regression event costs.
i love the content but i have to inform you that recommending repressed alliance is misinformation let me explain: pain resonance takes 20% of a gen(gens are 90 charges/seconds) 20% of 90=18 and repressed alliance lasts 30s meaning that during that time you could have made more progress than if you didnt use it. this perk is sadly just really bad and needs a buff/rework
