My lucky story is I lost my job and was living in my car and it was really hot outside and I went into the casino where I live and walked by the wheel of fortune dollar slot and someone got the spin on the last pull and didn't know what it was and walked away, I looked around to see if they were coming back and there was nobody around and I pushed the button and it landed on 750, I cashed the ticket out my hands shaking and cashed it in and left, I rented a room for two weeks and got myself cleaned up and food and got a job the next day and I've been employed now for six months. I thank God 🙏 and I know it was an answer to my prayer the night before

I use to always want Handpays, but they are a pain in the ass to sit and wait until they pay you $1600. I rather win $800 on two machines and then don't have to pay taxes or have to wait.

It's all about being at the right place at the right time
We've stayed at the Bellagio 40+ times and I've played pinball in that high limit room many, many times. I think my highest single win was around $3500 since the most I normally play is $75 a spin. I'd love to go again but we aren't getting on a plane or going really anyplace until this crap dramatically slows down. :(
Come to FL to play....our state is open. Our family goes to Disney World weekly (we have been since July) and no Covid.

I'm happy for that young couple. I don't know their financial situation, but if they can afford to bet $1,000.00 a spin, God bless them. Having said that, personally even if the young couple were financially secure to be able to gamble $3,000 in three spins, these actions show a lack of maturity and is a harbinger of rough times ahead for them. It's one thing to get out of the house and go to the casino for entertainment and blow a couple hundred, but if you're that serious to gamble $1,000.00 a spin, it's just going to get worse for this couple because sooner or later the losses pile up. No jackpot at the casino is life changing money, so that $42,500.00 will feel good for the immediate future, but the way they gamble, it will soon be gone. I hope I'm wrong, but I've seen it happen too many times, even to me.

My last $20 turned into almost $100k.
Last $20 scored a 5 bonus piece win. First spin of initial 20 x4 @ $5, paid almost $6k. 3 retriggers later, I cashed out almost $17k… most lucky I’ve ever had until… I moved into the high stakes room, played a Lightning Link game and hit a grand at $250 per spin… won a $78k progressive grand. I don't like the fact that 30% tax is paid over $1200 winnings....... Here in UK all winnings no matter how large are tax free, the government still gets its tax, the only difference is the way the tax is collected....... all bets placed have a little sliced off for tax. A couple won £160 million a few years ago, all tax free, so £160 million was paid into their bank

If they were doing 1,000 Bets it would be 85,000 they were only doing 500 a Spin, 85×500= 42,500

That’s when you should jump on the machine. Some people don’t do a couple f back up spins and sometimes a machine will hit back to back. I went behind a couple in Traverse City who got a jackpot and got paid and went to the next machine over. I got on the machine they hit the jackpot on and 2 spins later I hit a higher jackpot. It was on. Triple Stars high limit. The couple was not happy but oh well. That’s the second rule of slot play
