We must apologize, but the camera stopped suddenly just before the end of the interview, so it's an abrupt end in the middle of a question.
I think Bradley James is incredibly articulate and an absolutely amazing actor. He's charming to boot and infinitely better looking than Brad Pitt. I wish him all the best for his life and career.
Is better looking than Brad Pitt, is smarter and more funny. I wish him too good luck in his career and happiness in his life.

I am from Northern Ireland and just have to say that that in all the interviews I have watched with Colin he always uses his own Northern Ireland accent, His accent has softened a little over the past few years, which happens naturally when you live and work with people who talk in an English accent, but when he goes home to Armargh the accent will get really strong again. This is the experienced opinion of someone who has spent their whole life listening to this very accent.

"When our show finishes, Arthur's story begins"...and THAT is why the ending- as well-written and epic as it was- eternally frustrates me.
The real Arthurian legends, the adventures of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round, never actually HAPPEN! Unless we're meant to think they all occur between seasons 4 and 5, though that might be a little too far-fetched.

One of the many times when Bradley had better ideas for the development of the show than the actual writers did (he also bemoaned the fact that Gwen and their romance was underwritten, wanted Arthur to work out Merlin had magic sometime around S3, before Merlin actually tells him, and for Arthur to reach a point where he’d learned how to be king without quite so much reliance on Merlin.)
I really envy the interviewers for they had a chance to converse with this charming and smart guy!!!!!
Bradley is an amazing actor honestly he is nice and very funny. He’s incredibly talented I wish him the best for his career he does deserve everything and a lot of happiness

Love listening to him talk about his character..he is very articulate.
I imagine it was kinda a let down for Bradley at the end when he died knowing that his character wouldn't go on to do all those things and live to be older.
Thank you for posting. I must say that when this series began I could see that Bradley was not as experienced an actor as Colin. But you could occasionally glimpse a naturalness of movement or response in Bradley that gave you the idea that he would develop, and he most definitely has. His role has the most extremes of those on those show and he clearly has little say in what he plays (idiot/noble prince/slapstick victim, etc.). Sometimes it doesn't work, but it often does, seamlessly.

I enjoyed this interview. It's interesting to hear his thoughts on interacting with fans and trying to find that perfect balance because people always want more, always want a "piece" of him. Acting seems like a very cool career, but that level of fame and attention from complete strangers (mostly young and female) would probably be tiresome after a while.

I will never understand why people who don't like the ones the video is about ,are watching those videos...I mean no one asked about your opinion... Some people love they way bradley acts and Bradley himself(well how we can "know" him) and if you don't like him keep your mouth shut ...

What irritated me at the ending of merlin is the fact that they say " Arthur will return when Albion needs him the most" but we will never know when that is becuase they ended it randomly, and we don't actually get to see what happens

you know, I've noticed this in many interviews. He's not as open and jokey as he is with the others of the cast as in interviews. I don't know if it's perhaps because he's been burned by it all or what. He doesn't seem the type not to be confident but in this it's almost...painful in his interviews. It's not awkward it's just...tense and closed off. Katie is by far the best interview-ee of the group, I think
Yes... he is absolutely tense and closed off and has absolutely been burned by some factions of the fandom. "toxic love" for sure. and general disrespect for boundaries.... No doubt Katie "performs" the most "openly and candidly and therefore the "best" in interviews... but I think she also has the least toxic fan base: she is perceived as nonthreatening to the young female fan ego because her character Morgana, although beautiful, is "evil" and "gets no men" and "ends up alone" and so she doesn't trigger the fans but rather her story line upholds the old patriarchal ideas about women and so in this way Katie has the most freedom to be herself.... I'm not sure about Colin to be honest... Bradley and Angel though. toxic experiences with the fandom. and in opposite ways too.
He acts totally different from in Season 1 when none of these things were issues.... he was so free and open back then. He's said it too. Someone asked him about giving autographs and he said "I used to take time with the fan, and write a nice message but now I just sign and get the hell out of there quickly because they'll smell fresh meat and come running..." Heartbreakingly sad...
I think of them all, he and Colin are the most likely to attract fans who don’t respect boundaries and are pushy or invasive to the extreme. It doesn’t surprise me at all, since I’ve seen other celebrities become more and more guarded the longer they’re in the limelight. It’s necessary to protect themselves, and tbh it makes me angry that the nutjobs out there have caused that kind of distress to them.

Oh, and Bradley could not understand Colin's NORTHERN Irish accent, which many people find difficult. Colin uses a Southern Irish accent a lot of the time, because he thinks people will be better able to understand him. He has said so in interviews. In fact, when he auditioned for Merlin, he started with his Northern accent, then tried a Southern Irish accent to be easier to understand, and they finally asked him to try an English accent (which of course is what he uses in the show).

All the mistakes made in the perfect "Merlin" series:
1. that the dragon killed innocent people.
2 .Arthur killed a man -that king.
3 .that gwen cheated on Arthur.
4. Merlin advised Arthur to refuse the witches of the desair and arthur did not accept the old religious belief. This is how it kept mordred alive.
5. Arthur executed the Druid girl and caused Mordred to turn against him.
6 .that the stable worker was killed only because of Gwen.
7 .that Arthur is killed! he should have lived and go back to the palace to rule with Gwen and continue to enjoy Merlin as a servant and to enjoy Merlin's magic.
8.that in general magic wasn't accepted in Arthur's time and that it should be a distinction between good sorcerers and evil sorcerers and magic being used for good or evil.
9.also that in the past Arthur attacked a druid camp with his soldiers.

He used to look chilled and funny but now I think he is a little bit different. He looks more serious and a lot less chill and funny

Can't stand this guy. He is one of the reasons I stopped watching Merlin. He is so conceited and is a total sports jock. He is also not a good actor and has virtually no acting experience. He is also not as hot as the Bradley fangirls like to claim.
