This really sparked my interest
My first board was in the 90s but was an 80s old school shape with plastic rails and plastic on the tail. I bought it from my brother at our garage sale (yes he made me buy it for him haha). I learned how to board slide curbs with it, and later I finally got a modern board design with concave on the nose too. Got the tiniest wheels as that was cool for the time and always missed having rails on it. Just wasn’t cool and you couldn’t really find them to put on your board even if you wanted to. It was an amazing time in skating with the x games, skate mags, waiting for the next videos to drop on VHS, then DVDs/THPS, coveting owning a canon XL1 or GL1 with a fisheye lens, etc. But I’m glad to see skating today diversify more and people can skate all sorts of board styles with different sized wheels, rails or not, etc. Build whatever board you like, have your own videos on TH-cam, Instagram.
It be awesome if you all made a video series using equipment from different eras. Like game of skate between 80s and 90s setups. Or skate vid using old camera gear.

love your guys' videos but they do tend to be pretty quiet compared to the average / the standard levels. I would be happy to help with the audio if you guys want :) It can help engagement and retention if your audio levels more or less match other videos on the platform, that way people don't have to turn it up for yours and then back down for the next one, etc. For reference, TH-cam says this video is -14.2 dB which means it is over 14 dB quieter than the target / standard loudness for TH-cam.
So sorry for that. We keep having these mistakes come up sometimes. I need to correct the editors

what if you take one of those long pieces of sand paper from a belt sander and glue that onto the rail with double sided carpet tape or spray glue? that will surely make it spark :P

I am still working on Elden Ring! I got it for Christmas, and I've only managed to get the first map fragment so far... I won't give up though! Peace
It's such an amazing game. I beat it once on my new game plus playthrough now, and I can't wait for the DLC to come out😅

every time you guys do this, you dont understand how this works and someone has to explain and you forget. go to a cement park and it will work. go take apart a bic lighter and the lil black nub that comes out is what you are skating and look at what rub its to spark.

I have rails on most of my boards; to stop the 'rail rattle', I use some No More Nails glue (or equivalent glue) on the rails first, and then secure them with the screws.

They are meant for long curbs! Like slappy curbs and concrete ledges!

My first board had rails a short nose and a huge stop pad on the tail it was so heavy and so 80’s it was neon orange and had handles cut in the sides next to the rails

yes use all the screws and put your rails like this () or you will get aids. no seriously that makes the lowest part the middle of the deck also if you use gas it will be exciting. bet you wont!

@@brailleskateboarding if you bow them outward like this ( ) (your center of board is inside the () ) that should make the center of your board the low spot and funnel the rail, curb, coping , etc....... to the middle of the bow. Andy Anderson was talking about it. I'm going to try it if it ever stops raining but he is one of the smartest pros out there so I'm sure there is something to it
Got hit by a truck and have a bad leg and hip. Also drop foot in my left leg due to severed tendons. Think I could still skate?

I destroyed every tendon in my left leg from the knee down when I was 14.
Took about 20 months to rehab.
Still skating at 47.
