Chas always thinks of herself first. She is not a victim. Aaron has been dealt a shitty hand over and over. He has every right to feel the way he feels. Robert and Paddy and Liv are/were his family who always stuck by him .Aaron is saying all the stuff everyone who watches this show has been saying for a year. I love a darker Aaron this brings him back full circle to how he arrived. I hope. He will eventually get back to peace and gets some happiness on his own terms again. Would love to see Robert come back some how or even give him a new love interest who can be his equal and take care of him.

She was going to take Paddy girl Eve away from him, used Faiths cancer as an excuse all the time, used her dead daughter Grace as a way of escaping the argument ,shouted and hit Paddy basically mocking him,shes sick
Chas really has learned nothing, it's right back to playing victim, or trying to manipulate the whole situation in her favour. "You need your family", the one that has abandoned him, molested him, or is imprisoned/dead??

I completely agree. I think he's just about the only one left that could save Aaron from himself. Obviously Adam couldn't and I'm not sure that Paddy could get through to him. Liv's dead so really I think Robert, the man we know he still loves, is probably the only person who can save him. I wanted both characters back but perhaps not like this...
Lucy pargeter is such a fantastic ACTRESS that plays chas dingle because she's done a good job very well to the point we're people think it's real 👏 you go girl 👏

The Dingles have been toxic for Aaron for a long time, especially Chas. Aaron needs to be far away from them, but he does need lots of professional help.
But Liv's death is partly on Chas. Without her and Al, Liv would be alive. That's how it's.🤷🏻♀Truth hurts, doesn't it. Ugh, Chas and her excuses. It's a wonder that she hasn't blamed her mom that she started the affair with all because of her illness. And she's trying to rewrite her past. She did choose Al over Aaron. It's not like Aaron could get a new passport (also, you would've thought that Cain and Caleb took it before).

Robert tried to guilt-trip Aaron into thinking he had caused Katie's death, and help clean it up. When Aaron wanted to fess up to Chrissy about their affaire, Robert took him hostage/pulled a gun on Aaron, and shot Paddy in the shoulder when he walked into that, Aaron did expose it anyway right after.
@@K-sv1io Robert set fire to the caravan Katie and Andy were staying in, after she had warned him she would befriend Chrissie, and told Robert she had her eyes on him. This was after Robert had threatened her, "she was going to get burned". Robert also convinced Chrissy to back out of the Wylie's farm deal, hurting Andy in the process, Robert delights in telling Katie this. Aaron called her to the farm, because he wanted the affaire to be discovered, he lets him be photographed kissing Robert, but then she confronts Robert, which ends with him pushing her to her death. Aaron's intention was to expose, not help Robert, but Robert makes it out like she had an accident, to force Aaron to help him cover it up. Robert later reveals that he indeed pushed Katie, to Aaron, which leads to that famous punch out scene on the road, since he had manipulated Aaron thinking it was his fault.
I was curious the writers of Emmerdale didn't mention if Aaron tried to visit Robert?.. I am sure Aaron misses Robert so much.. if I in Aaron shoes/situation I don't care what Robert says on the letter nor his family.. i always go to my beloved husband to fight for visiting if he has the chances and change Robert's mind
Aaron is mess.. His husband divorced him, lock up and ghost him His sisters died Aaron needs fresh start,.. i think Aaron is not completely healed from the traumas been through..
He lost liv way before her death. He didn’t just loose her he left her. He left her knowing the possibility, the likely hood of her coming to serious harm including death. He just got lucky she didn’t die before she did.
They made up just before her death, he even gave his house to her and Vinny. Chas is also the one who went super vicious to Liv when she was in prison, when they all thought she had killed Ben, Vinny was the only one who stuck with her. Aaron was a mess back then, his bf beaten to death, and he had been dealing the most with LIv's alcoholism.
