I've been away from dancing for some time, but so great to see Mickey and Kelly, who are just freakin' awesome! (I'm especially a fan of theirs because Mickey was just a young punk on the NYC scene when I got started!)
One of my favorite dance clips is of the original dancers taking the floor at Bobby McGee's, and each one of them looked so different (pure bal & bal-swing)! 🙂 @@myaccount9745
@@myaccount9745 Agree, and I really like that; it enriches Balboa so much. I loved Jeremy this time, doing lot of syncopations and slides, and as talking about the old timers, it remembered Willie Desatoff style a bit. So great.
The podium was difficult to beat but I really loved Heather and Matt in this contest. So joyful 😊

the oldtime Swing dancers (not original Balboa) all cherished individual style and often looked quite different to each other
