Marcelito has very little education, can hardly speak English, but can sing in perfect English, Italian, Chinese, French, Spanish. He is amazing.

I think Marcelito is gifted with two vocal cords, a female and a male voice. He can imitate different make and female singers. It seems inside his body there is fantastic sound system, a machine singing with beautiful voice.

Even more amazing, Marcelito is self taught. He raised himself on the streets from the age of seven. Hope you will react to his performances on AGT the Champions Edition, especially “Con te Partiro.” He also sang Beauty and the Beast as well. 😊 He was the only singer to make it to the final four acts on AGT (out of forty acts). Great response to what you were seeing and hearing. Amazing isn't it? I have made this comment before but would like to share it with you. Two personalities, Celine & Andrea, Female and male sounds precisely executed, in two languages - neither one is his native language which is Tagalog. I have a theory: Marcelito, is, of course, gifted with an unbelievably beautiful voice, but it is his BRAIN that can MEMORIZE exactly what he HEARS and his marvelous voice allows him to recreate it PRECISELY, even female voices, minute inflections in other singer's voices, and in accurate pronunciation of foreign languages. That strange thing that he does with his mouth after the song is because the Sound Engineers were teasing him about having a 'female voice' so he was 'removing' it. Marcelito is humble with a great sense of humor and a charming stage presence. Well, enough - I thought you might enjoy some insight into this gifted singer.

He is THE REAL DEAL. One in a billion. He is back and doing several concerts again in the U.S. starting tomorrow. He did about 60 last year in several countries mostly in the States. A father of 2, he had a very tough and sad start. Despite his fame and accolades to date, he's remained very meek and humble; down to earth. No frills to his singing and his personality. An angel on earth. Check his covers of Whitney, MJ, Shania, Elton, Tom....ENJOY THE AMAZING WORLD OF MARCELITO. Can you tell I'm a FAN? ☺

I have watched this 2 dozen times and I am still amazed. It is one of the most emotional performance, due to his talent mainly, I have ever witnessed. WOW!

Thank you sir for appreciating FILIPINO talent.. Marcelito Pomoy competed in America's GOT TALENT and was a3rd placer..Though he did win on that competition, opportunities came for him to be known GLOBALLY, until NJ ow he still performs in other parts of the world like Canada and USA

That comedy singing performance where a person dresses half female and half male was a usual part of town fiesta here in the Philippines. We call it Doble Kara (or Double Face in English). A lot of Filipinos can do that but Marcelito is definitely a standout.

I played this for my 102 year old Sicial Great Grand Mother on her birthday. She speaks primarily Italian and is quick to correct gramtic mistakes. Gram sat transfixed, listening intently, especially to his Italian. She muttered Bravo, Mama-Mia, and Bravismo several times as tears filled her eyes. At the end she looked at me and declared," He is an Angel sent by God. He must be Italian by proxy, his Italian is perfection. Better than some of you." Addressing relatives in the room. My Gram is my hero, if she says Marcelito is an Angel, who am I to disagree?

Marcelito was a finalist on America's Got Talent and should have won 1st place. But Simon Cowell criticized him for singing Beauty and the Beast even though Cowell insisted that he sing it! Instead, Marcelito came in 4th, despite his unique talent. It was pretty clear that Simon didn't want him to win.

Great reaction, Beard Guy. Marcelito takes this song to yet another level in the release of his album, "Duet Yourself". Since it is a tracked recording, he includes all of the harmonies where Bocelli and Dion sing together in harmony. It is quite beautiful with Marcelito singing the lead (Bocelli) in tenor/baritone and the alto harmony (Dion) in countertenor. This song also includes a marvelous background orchestra.
