    I use pretty much the same technique. Really useful if you have some older seed packs. I usually write down the days to germinate on the zip bag, so I can be sure I've given them enough time

      That's a great idea! I didn't write it down on the bag but knew it as I waited to check them out. Great tip!

      @@LouisianaSimpleLiving it usually don't take the full number of days too get germination, because you've given the seeds near-ideal conditions. But it's a good back-end date to be sure you give them enough time for non-starters.

    Great video.
    Did you leave the seed bags outside? Were they inside?

    • @LouisianaSimpleLiving
      @LouisianaSimpleLiving  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, I brought them inside and put it on a shelf until ready to check them.

      For the lettuce, yes, it has to have some light to germinate whereas most other seeds like the Tomatoes do not require light.

    U plant your seed seed test seeds dont u if they sprout? I typically domt have much seed on hand to be wasting a sprout

      Most of my seed packets have plenty of seeds to test the germination rate so not terribly concerned. The ones with less I dont' usually test, I just go with it and they usually germinate.
