This touched me hard as my son is a struggling single father. My grandsons mother just left them when he was just 2. She came back briefly and left again because she needed to (have a life). She's older than my son and he had my beautiful grandson at 17. Thank God he's done well and is the best father. This man is wonderful for sticking with his son and giving him the gift of life again through surgery. I wish them all the best on their journey and in life. Very touching. All of his stories seem to have a single father out of work with a sick kid and the mom just left. All of them seem to be of a Mexican or Hispanic discent.
