The only thing that comes to mind for this exact team strategy is Yuna. She won't need a lifesteal set as she's not a Knight, so with a rage set she will probably deal even more damage. As she is a Ranger, she can equip Rosa Hargana for some lucky Duals! She's also free SSS! I suggest the 3rd Exclusive Equipment (+30% on S3) The problem with that is that you will be forced to bench either Kitty or Camilla (as having a Knight it's almost mandatory) and replace with A.Ras. Also SB Charlotte provides a convenient AoE Def Break for everyone, while Yuna doesn't do so. She still has a nice AoE Burst on S3, with zero CD as long as you have the Focus for it, so you can probably make up for that. I suggest replacing Camilla, since Kitty have a nice Dispel for Phase 2!

Well Summer Break Charlotte is the last summer unit, so new players are more likely to have her! Camilla and Kitty are "just" 3* and 4* respectively, so they are also relatively easy to have. Alternatively you can switch Summer Break Charlotte with Arowell (I really suggest using her for her full Dispel on S3 + Shield) or Ras, and switch Kitty with Mercedes (free character too). It won't be as easy, and RNG could screw you up if you are unlucky, but I've personally tried that team and it works!
This vid is a safe strat but you can also just try and cheese the boss by nuking it before anyone hits 4 turns. I did it with Cermia aRas, mHazel, aLots and a nuke supporter (Roy mustang in my case). With better gear probs don't even need the supporter since cermia hits so hard and self resets + gab.
If you bothered playing previous chapters and summoned and grinded enugh you should beat him, though this team isn’t all there is to use, ARas and Yuna are some of many other easy 1 soul burn characters that exist, this is just easy mode
Ye, Zio can be bursted down if you have strong DPSs, the reason why most people don't like this is because RNG can mess everything and it also requires good gears. But I love burst teams, especially in contents like Advent Side Stories and similar!
This has helped me so much! Can’t quite yet defeat zio but this video has helped me at least survive longer. I have a strategy now that will hopefully work
As long as you meet the Speed requirements and the slight bulkiness for SB Charlotte you should really have no problems, follow what I do and it should be easy peasy!

I do it with rann, summer charlotte, A lots and C dom and the free adin they give us. The rng is the worst part but i built this team randomly i was pretty shocked that i win
Its important to tell that u go wondrous potion on ur supporter. Otherwise stun can lead to gg when timer is on 3. I would try ur comp but i dont own Charlotte :/

I will replace SB charlotte with A.Ras I think, but then I will need someone with a good def break debuff. What would you recommend? Or is the def break a must have in this match?
A.Ras can provide you Defense Break as well, so you shouldn't worry too much. The main issues there are if your damage is high enough and if you will have enough Souls. Kitty is a really valuable hero for PvE, she's hard to replace... I guess a cheap alternative could be Schuri with Rosa Hargana, but it's harder

does a slow stall team work like with Belian or is that not possible? my team for Belian was tama, Monty, krau, AVildred(because of quest) and Angelica (from support)
It can't, or to be more specific, it probably can but requires very high gear requirements. Your heroes are not the only ones who accumulate "Dark Aura", Zio and his minions also do as you can see in the video. So if you are too slow he will nuke you anyways. ALSO you want as-cheap-as-possible Soulburns since you need to Soulburn to dispel your Dark Aura. If all your teams have 20-souls Soulburn you will have a very hard time doing that. Imho slow teams can't win this fight in 99% of cases, but I hope to be wrong
If you're using the exact team I showcased here, then it's mainly a gear thing. That means your gears are still too weak unfortunately and cannot make you deal enough damage. If you're using a DIFFERENT team, then tell me about it and I can try to help you!
If it the same exact team then ye I'm afraid it's mainly a gear thing. As you can see in the video the strategy is REALLY straightforward and it's incredibly easy to mess up. Even you do something sligthly wrong it does even matter that much. The stage 10-10 of Episode 4 is not an easy stage in general for players who are not even fully in the "midgame". So don't be sad for it and take your time slowly to improve your gears and heroes. It won't take much time and you'll be proud of yourself after achieving the result. If you, instead, want to try it again then make sure you read what I said in the video correctly to avoid misunderstanding some steps. For example, be sure you understood the Soulburn mechanic correctly. That alone can screw up everything.

Of course there is, mine was just a very safe strat to be able to beat him without even thinking about what you're doing. The easiest way I've seen is to run Iseria, Tamarinne, Sigret, A.Ras and burst him down immediately. If you also can't run that, you should arrange a team depending on what you have. This is the final boss of Episode 4 and unfortunately it is hard to beat if you don't have certain heroes and/or decent gears

Sinful Angelica and Conqueror Lilias are the first that comes to mind, maybe even Bad Cat Armin (in front). Unfortunately a lot of useful heroes here are all moonlight because with my team you want lots and lots of Dual Attacks

She's a Soul Weaver to be specific, she's a good healer with great support skills too. She's basically the Top #1 PvE healer since she came out 2+ years ago lmao
Not impossible I'd say, but surely difficult. It won't be fast and you have to remember to Soulburn with Ras's S2. A great alternative, even easier, is Tamarinne, Iseria, Sigret, A.Ras. If you play it correctly you can burst Zio without a sweat! There are probably some videos here on youtube of people who ran that, if it can help.

If you have a decent Rage gear you can arrange a oneshot team with Sigret, Tamarinne, Iseria, and A.Ras. I didn't personally try it, but there are several videos of it here on TH-cam, I think you can easily find it and see how it works.

I used my caides team and burst him down. clorina, singelica, iseria, camilla and helper hero se celine to carry the rest. Worked pretty well.

Camilla uses "Proof of Valor" and Kitty uses "War Horn". Both artifact are free from Guild War members Shop.

Good for you! Big burst DPS is the easiest method, but at the same time not everyone can afford to do that as it requires big pp stats
