मेरा प्रश्न यह है कि लोकोमोटिव को कैसे पता चलता है कि ट्रेन को कहाँ कहाँ मुड़ना है जैसे कि ट्रेन को पटना से दिल्ली जाना है।ना जाने इतनी दुरी तय करने के लिए बहुत जगह मुड़ना होगा तो यह बात लोकोमोटिव को कैसे पता चलता है।
दो बातें -
(१) ट्रैन को पटना से दिल्ली तक कोई एक ड्राइवर की टीम नहीं लेके जाती बल्कि बीच में काम से काम दो बार ड्राइवर बदलते हैं. तो हर ड्राइवर टीम को अपनी रुट की जानकारी होती है.
(२) पुल या मोड़ आने के बहुत पहले ही सिग्नल येलो या डबल येलो हो जाते हैं. गाडी कभी भी बहुत रफ़्तार से किसी भी मोड़ या पुलिया का पास नहीं आती. एक बार गाड़ी 30 - 40 kmph पे आ गयी फिर ड्राइवर आसानी से experience के आधार पे गाड़ी की रफ़्तार काम कर देता है.
Loco pilot ko sirf signal follow krna hota hai tracks station master change krte hai point and crossing ki help se. Loco pilot ka koi role nhi hota isme.

Wo duty Station master ki hoti hai use kon se track pr gaadi lena hai kon sa point open rkhna hai wo b sb system pr baith kr krna hota hai.
2. Har route ki apni speed limit hoti hai aur kisi maintanance work yaa koi construction work ke liye usme kuch section me speed ko kam kiya jata hai jiske liye sign boards lgaye jate hai. Sirf isi condition me speed kam ki jati hai. Bridge aur curvs us route ki maximum speed aur load capacity ke according hi banaye aur time to time modify kiye jate hai.
Bhai train apne se track ko change nahi kar sakta😣😣😣
Over above all driver and guard will get a caution order when they board train which consists of speed restrictions in that section. So driver has to maintain speed according to caution order.

1. Maximum track permissible speed decided by class of track i.e. class A, B, C which is approved by CRS. This information shared to LP by SM.
2. For Temporary work Speed restrictions imposed at particular IR Km during this SR concern railway staff put following sign boards- Caution board, speed limit board , TP, TG respectively.

Loco Pilots, Motormen and Guards are provided with jobsheets with all details of Stn, route, speed restrictions, etc...
If any immediate or last minute changes are done then they are updated accordingly at any en-route Stn or main junction/halt...
For speed now a new rule has come up where pilots can increase and cross speed limits in sections with no restrictions if train is running late...
