@@zanerasmussen8889 we want a lot of things but its not up to us, I've got 20 more ideas .... i want traktor to be successful, problem is they are lagging behind the competition, if the software team is falling behind, do a damn good flagship hardware to work on VDJ & Djay Pro, make it MIDI mappable, drive the sales up then invest in software later .... people only afraid one day traktor don't work they got nothing else to rely on!

??? When is the last time they pushed the limits of anything??? Sadly they have fallen so far behind and it breaks my heart bc I miss using Traktor but with no "real" new hardware and the software falling so far behind I'm back to Serato and the S11
@@UONeal I'm using S11 with traktor every weekend. It's amazing and totally works like a gem.
@@openformatmusic7932 that's awesome... I've tried but nothing integrates with Traktor like the Z2... It's still my favorite combo ever... I've used (and own) so much different gear but the way they integrated was amazing and everything just worked... If I go back to Traktor it would have to be with the Z2,X1,F1 combo
@@UONeal Hope they can combine Z2,X1,F1 into 1 unit with a antelope audio 32bit soundcard.

When are the upgraded Z1/F1 dropping?
Especially the Z1 can't come soon enough. And then I want to see how this new X1/Z1 combo compares to Reloop's upcoming Mixtour Pro. Should be an interesting showdown.
Prob not ever bc so many Traktor users are using 4 channel mixers... Honestly I wish they'd do a Z2 MK2 as the Z2 is my favorite mixer ever... But since that's not happening I'm using the S11
I have the pioneer djm 800 table, x1 mk3 and Traktor pro 3, how can I connect the turntables?
I want to be able to use all 8 cue points on the X1MK3. Like how X1MK2 had the flux button toggle between cue points 1-4/5-8. How can I do that on the X1MK3?
You can use 5-8 with traktor 3.11 and holding shift if you active that in the options.
If you want to use flux you need to map that.
PLEASE can you update X1 MK3 to natively control stems in Traktor pro. So crazy this doesn't exist.
Im torn between this setup or an S4. But what I would really love is an S4 as an all in one. No laptop.
Can anyone suggest links to setting up an analog mixer? Currently using the Playdifferently model 1.4.

Is it possibile to connect X1 and CDJ like this:
- n°2 CDJ are connected to n°1 X1 via USB. The X1 is connected to a MAC via USB
- CDJs are connect to an external mixer via RCA line input (so the mixer don't have USB connection)
Use the CDJ/XDJ aggregator for control CDJs with Traktor in HID mode.
Use X1 for TRIGGERING HOTCUEs and BEATJUMP function

So, if now this controller is mappable to other programs, say algoriddim then in theory this could be a ultra slim mixer controller bit of everything in combo with my android tablet and the audio cable splitter?
Yes, but you will need to use it in midi mode. No LEDs or displays.
If you want to use it with Djay there are better controllers out there.
@@lordcarloshere fair. I got a tiny Hercules controller but it's so cheap and chitty it only lasted one trip. I really like traktor, but I'm also an android guy and don't have any iPads to use with traktor dj 2...

Please Native make a new S8 !! Stand alone version and controller version !!! Make a s3 , s4 with full remix deck control , make a z4 mixer with 4 channel .

Is it only usb c type into the laptop? So I guess my 2015 Mac Pro laptop is no good for it?

Why would someone do the "Multi-Controller" or "External Mixer" setup when they could just use one of the S controllers?

The mk3 encoders are too light and the pots have a very large center dead zone :/
Otherwise I enjoy the x1 + xone 96 combo.
same for my unit and blurry screens, I sent back 2 units for replacement, waiting for my 3rd one, I like it but it just keep disappointing me
@@HARDBEA7 are they blurry when looking to down at them? Or if your are sitting in front of the unit?
Mine are only blurry at a shallow angle, sitting in front of them.
@@lordcarloshere mine i got 1 clear screen out of 5, rest of it as if you just took out from freezer, I had to return , second one was not 100% clear but acceptable only then I found dead zone , both units got it… waiting for the 3rd one arrive now, each time I have to wait for a month…I love the unit, maybe I’m just unlucky

Hey, guys! Honestly having 2 x1 mk3s begs for the ability to connect 2 z1s to traktor. I'm so tired of connecting 2 x1s to my heavy x1850 mixer

NI what good is your hardware if you don’t have instant stems? The software is the heart of all your gear and yet NO instant stems? Unlike Algoriddum and Serato, even virtual DJ.
I love my S4 MK3 but I can’t use it cause Traktor has NO stems. And I can’t midi map it to any other DJ software?! I can’t even sell my S4 MK3? No one wants it and why would they want this!?

My inner monk isn’t happy with the new size… I won’t buy it, I have the x1 mk2, two f1 and a z1. All in the same size.
This stuff doesn’t seem like it’s better than an S8 in any way at all. You’ve basically deconstructed the entire controller into three pieces. No XLR connections either. I cannot see this ever beating the S8 in anyway.
The djm has xlr.
And the x1 + Z1 setup is light and mobile.
It won't. The S8 was one of the best controllers ever made.
Lol are you gonna show up to a gig and play on a lineup of multiple djs with an s8?
@@RioTGeaRMusic actually no. If your not the headliner you best be playing on house CDJs, openers should not get to hook up their own gear.
