      Look at what is happening in Papua new guinea. There is nothing wrong with monogamy. Monogamy has nothing to do with the west. It just makes sense. Polygamy only creates poverty and unhappiness. Do these people even know what they are talking about.

    • @antwangordon6918
      @antwangordon6918 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@sweetie539Wrong, Polygamy in most cultures isn’t about desires. It was a necessity because a lot of the men of particular tribes were killed off from wars. Women globally outnumber the males. So in order for those women to be married and have children, they shared the man. In Rwanda for example, there’s certain towns and villages where the women literally have to pay the men to marry them. Because it’s only a few men.
      Even in America, the city of Atlanta alone has 20 to 1 ratio of black women to men. So get out of your insecure feelings.

    • @israelolupelumi8208
      @israelolupelumi8208 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sweetie539 You are wrong. First let me make it clear that, I am not an advocate for polygamy and I won't be a polygamist. However, for what it is worth, let's get into the discussion. In those days in Africa, men with many wives were richer because they raised male children that worked and expanded their father's farms, fishing, or other trades. In Utah in America, the Mormons are predominantly polygamists (even presently) and they are very rich. The Arabs are predominantly polygamists, its just that they don't display their harem of wives all over the social media. Polygamy was given a bad wrap in Africa by the Europeans in order to further reduce the indigenous people's population, for fear of reprisal against them for what they didi to the people of colour.
      Polygamy is a choice provided you can afford it. I would rather agree with polygamy than homosexuality. I think every polygamy participants in a relationship should consent after properly enlightened of what polygamy entails. There shouldn't be a kind of 'bait and hook' situation.
      It should not be based on someone, parental, community, or financial pressure forced, or cajole them into it.
      Having said all that, your argument that polygamy causes poverty does not hold water; as a matter of fact, what constitutes poverty in the US, or South Africa might not be the same to a family in Checks Republic, or Romania, or Cambodia. The way the world is going now with the number males and females ration differentials climbing daily, polygamy will most likely be the new order in relationships.
      Besides, all these men shortage and rising numbers of single women compared to men, call it polygamy, if you may, had long been prophesied in the Scriptures (Isaiah 4:1). We must bear in mind, the Scripture cannot be broken.

    Please Nigerian women provide enough value to go round. Why do you think Nigerian men find it easy to spend on us to start with? A Nigerian woman cooks, cleans, will be holding down a job or a business or both without complaints, are respectful and responsible. The Nigerian man sees mad value and in turn he spends on her, and that is the same behavior he takes with him outside Nigeria to every other country and the men are upset 😂😂
    Its not their fault their Mama raised them right.

    My parents were married and in Love for 45 years. My mom didn't perform wifely duties until she was a WIFE. My dad is Nigerian. My parents taught each other so much. While Nigeria is poverty capital? Spoil women with what? People who don't understand generational Wealth behave that way and is not a suprise because Nigeria is not really big in banking systems or investment hence the country itself is dominated by South African businesses and European business. Richest bank in Nigeria by assets is Ecobank, largely owned by Nedbank and 5th richest bank in Nigeria by assets is stanbic bank of South Africa. Anecdote theories with no evidence won't help Africans, when you do research, an average Nigerian is broke and poor but the very few once with money don't mind going around spoiling women of countries that are already doing far great than theirs for an average person. What will matter is for Nigerian men to increase standards of living for their people and build infrastructure, prostitutes in many countries will always appreciate the free money but we're is Nigeria to show how great they are????

A typical example is this, an SA lady who is a reject by most standards of guys who are in middle class doing well, can be accepted by a middle class Nigerian man and he will see her as a price while if not, she would settle for a lower middle class level because that is mostly her practical market in the SA standards. On avarage, a Nigerian dude will have to offer something beyond what a local guy can offer just to be given attention even when is by an avarage SA lady who doesn't have many options. I'll be honest, men in SA like to date the Hood Chicks and Farm Girls for long and short term relationships the Model C chicks are hard to date because they mostly believe that they have hella options or they date hood dudes that run through them. The successful brothers marry the women that have a Farm Girl mentality because he knows that she is Traditionally minded. Hood Chicks collect Government money off them kids and then the Model C Chicks work hard and can almost never keep a stable relationship or marriage. Women in my country listen to western women and look at their shiny shows and want that but they're in a country where keeping it Traditional actually leaves you much happier in your elder years...

To be honest Nigerian men actually understand the nature of a woman than most men. Most Nigerian men are honest about their intentions when they meet a woman. A woman is only being used if she’s under a false impression when it comes to a man eg . Shacking up with a man for years who’s not her husband, having his babies , financing him while in the mean time the man doesn’t have the intention of marrying the woman. With a Nigerian the woman always knows where she stands and acts accordingly.

    Guys understands this and know peace. Nigerians are deeply culturally and religiously rooted. Despite the vast variations of tribes and customs, they all preach a very high standard for Nigerian men to take responsibility. In short Manhood and marriage is like a calling to a higher purpose which is both culturally and Religiously emphasized on. On the back of this Nigerian men take pride in Mirroring the image of a Husband and Father( Provider, protector, guardian, etc} while they are dating and take pride in it. It's a deep sense of purpose provided on the back of a lot of similarities in both culture and religion. Both don't get it twisted Nigerian men will roll out the big guns just for their pride in playing the role as MEN.

    Bro, I am South African, we are very prejudice towards Africans that are not from Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland or South Africa. Sure peers and parents won't have much issue, if its someone from Kenya or other East African Bantu's. But dating/marrying especially West Africans is looked down upon, because of the stereotypes of criminality, hygiene etc. So majority of Nigerian men, get the bottom of the barrel South Africans. Those who identify as slay queens and live by the motto of city girls, and these commonly come from poor backgrounds.
    Its like a bunch of South Africans going to the states, and messing with Keishas from the hood, and then come on TH-cam generalizing that all South African men, are just having their way with American girls, and not taking them seriously. Its exactly the same thing when passport bro's go to Asia or South America, you guys get the bottom of the barrel, and think you doing something. All you going to get is headaches, empty wallets, STD's, also trust and believe they not loyal either lol.
    So good on the Nigerian man on not taking them seriously, I seen some Western men, wifing these chicks and talk about how they found a wife. Bro quick tip, when you come to developing countries, date in your class or above, don't save them. 😂

    We Nigerians take care of whosoever we date or marry. It's a cultural thing in Nigeria, y'all need to educate yourselves. I see why some Africans view it as taking their ladies because we spend on their women when we date them. We are intelligent, we take pride in being the best in what we do, we have a lot of energy and we work hard to maintain our lifestyle. We succeed in different industry all over the world but what I notice in this podcast is always aligning Nigerians with things that are illegal. I just stumbled on this channel and all I can see is bunch of grown people seated and pushing perspectives they have no idea about. Just know that NIgerians are DIFFERENT breed of humans, so as Congolese, Cameroonian, Rwandan, Kanyan, SA's etc. You need to get a Nigerian on your podcast if you want to comprehend people's culture. Some of them even die on boats getting to Europe and some are in jail in South Africa or killed during their criminal activities. Coming online to paint a Rosey picture just for validation doesn't change this reality. The new blacks per Oshay are the new immigrants in the USA 🇺🇸 ; with the men choosing wm to marry is usually to avoid extended family obligations back in their countries not so much because their ww are providing REAL value 😂 that they can’t get from women in their community. They also don’t have to support the ww relatives FINANCIALLY and also it’s usually African men who have very African phenotypes usually from west and central Africa so are looking to water down their bantu genes in their offsprings 😂which has nothing to do with ww “value” - more inferiority feelings. That aside, very interesting discussion and I agree that women need to provide value instead of relying on looks and youth. Men too should stop using money and other access keys to get women. We should all keep it real to get what we want per Agaba. Enjoyed the show. Thanks
