Onlya few weeks watching you and I have learned so much. Very grateful.❤
I'm glad to hear it!
That Hangman game is so old that I had it when I was a kid, and we got it from a thrift store in the early 90s!
lol! Yeah I remember it as a kid as well
This shopping spree was beyond AMAZING!!!
There aren't many Thrift Stores in my area, but I do go to the couple I have once every week or so. I don't have a ton of space, so I have to pick and choose. :)
I dont have many in my area either which is a shame. Luckily they few I do have are pretty good
Those dolls at Goodvill are nightmare fuel 😂
These videos never mention tax or returns. Much lower profit than it seems.
Amazon fees are too high
Wow Ashley often find such great things !
He’s a great teacher 🥰
Shes awesomE!
@@ThriftSchoolyou should make a website for selling
Great sourcing. Sealed games are Fabulous. Thanks for your teaching. Keep it up.. It should be criminal for them to charge more than the store sold it for. Good luck in Future..
Awesome pickups! & Great video as always!
thank you!
The VENTURES are definitely a BOLO. They sell all the time and are really good money a lot of the time.
The Jackie And John F Kennedy Salt shakers ,I would have loved to have had those!
they were pretty cool. I almost want to get an Antique/Vintage booth and put stuff like that in it
Love your videos man, an actual real take on reselling. I wanted to pose a question to you. Say your reselling a DVD and its new condition and the lowest new is not FBA at $11.99. You say you would go in higher but i wondered by how much? $1, $2, $5?!
Amazing as always, great finds this week!!!
He Should compare those AMZ prices with EB because EB is usually 1/2 of what AMZ charges. The diff is that AMZ has a larger audience.
The toy sections of most thrift stores, the toys are destroyed. It's not even worth going to the toy section IMO.
Brooke is the Skechers spokeswoman.
@@Chicago48 I thought the same thing but there are millions of diehard Amazon users that absolutely will not use EBay. There can be 200 items on eBay for $15 and on Amazon for $25 and that Amazon item will always sell for me.
@@Chicago48 we definitely cross check the pricing for both, certain things are good to send in for FBA especially if the product is in good/great condition (we don’t pick anything up that has much wear or damage). The things that we’re willing to have sit in the warehouse on an eBay listing, we do that as well if it makes more sense that way. Definitely good points!
Brooke Burke was every guy's crush in the 2000s, and also did Playboy. She was also the host for Need For Speed Underground 2.
Now she sell Skechers Hands Free Slip Ons! Well, well, well How the turn tables!
@@PJFAZE Um, shes a middle aged women with a net worth of $30 million? And still is a smoke show. Smart like Thriftschool as they know how to sell products? No one should have to continue selling how attractive they are later in life.
I dont really remember her from back then, but I looked her up and Ive deff seen her before
That Barney tape would have been worth grabbing for eBay. Early edition (predates the television series) in pretty nice condition... probably a good twenty to thirty bucks. 🙂
I checked Ebay and it looks like this exact 1 has a few listings as low as $11 sadly
Awesome finds!
Thank You!
mate - buble xmas album would be a seller, check it out. my wife snapped one up on a recent thrift trip...she'd been looking out for it for ages
Amazon has crazy prices on a lot of items.
Oh yeah they do
Brooke Burke was a model and host of Travel E on the E channel lol
that carpenter cd isnt gonna sell for a long time theres a listing for 2k rank goes for 8.37
I think he’ll be ok.
I´ve gor a question about buying ink for printers.. Surely it must go bad someday efter the Best Before date? Anyone bought some a bit older and got any problems with it?
My goodwills sends all their Lego to online. I have not seen Lego in 6 years.
That stinks. Try pawn shops maybe? Also I've had luck on Facebook marketplace
Good job buying all the toys so the the kids in need couldnt buy any!!!!! Congrats i hope u made alot of money!!!!
How do you send dvd/vcr combos into FBA? Just bubble wrap?
Lots of Bubble wrap, yes. I tried bubble wrap and then a custom sized box for a while, and They never got damaged that way, but it costs a good bit more in supplies and shipping.
@@ThriftSchoolok, I’ve only did a couple and I bubbled them and put them in their own individual boxes with “do not open, ready to ship” stickers then inside of a FBA shipping box. Seems easier just to send them bubble wrapped only like you do. I’ll try that next time.
I feel like every video I said this but I NEED TO MOVE out of Massachusetts. WOW!!! You find gold in CT.
lol! I responded to you in another video, but I am going to film up in Mass and see how I do up there soon
Hey @ThriftSchool! Do those Wilton Pans need to be in new or nearly new condition to be worth anything? Went to Goodwill for the first time with flipping in mind and found a few of them, but they were all a little scuffed or partial sets.
I try to make sure theres no dents or deep scratches. If they are dirty I run them through my dishwasher to make them shine lol
@@ThriftSchool good to know, thanks so much!
Did you stop doing wholesale? Are you only thrifting or do you also do online arbitrage or retail arbitrage?
I still do wholesale. I do Thrifting mostly for fun and for TH-cam videos. Plus I still make great money thrifting. I dont do much retail arb, but I will make a video on a store or 2 soon!
Kennedy salt and pepper shakers must have value. My grandma owned some long ago.
Sadly not much, I just looked it up and theres some people selling them for $10 Shipped!
Good video.
Thanks!
Did it got sold? Or price got lower
I don't understand why you need to be in a rush to list them? Amazon selling seems like it's more hassle than ebay but I'm sure you have your reasons. I'll admit I've never bought secondhand on Amazon before.
have you ever thought about making your own website and salinging things on there that you can't sale on amazon to make money ?
It's a good question but you probably wouldn't get nearly the exposure and SEO you get from Amazon. He does already do live digital auctions, which is better.
I havent, theres way more buyers on Amazon and Ebay, so I am willing to deal with the Fees that I pay over there
@@ThriftSchool ok
stick finds!
Do you have any Patreon/Discord/TH-cam Join sub or anything like that? You have some of the most helpful info out of many on here, in my top 3 for sure.
I wish lol. The only thing I can ask for is a Like, Comment and Subscription :) all of those things help. Well actually if you don't have a whatnot account and sign up using the first link in my bio you get $15 free and I get $5 to use in the app. I run auctions almost every week on there and love when people come in and bid on stuff :)

amazing!
Thanks!
Ok I just checked my goodwill rewards card and it says I have 4659.51 points, can anyone tell me how much is that in money that I can use to buy things at goodwill?
My Goodwill doesnt do points.
🔥
How much was the lankybox stuff?
Too much! I think $25 each
Ah i thought they went for more on ebay or amazon guess not. Its pretty popular. I know my son loves them!!
I sell on eBay and I have tried to watch videos on how to sell on Amazon. It is just too complicated. You ship your items in, then you pay a storage fee, sounds risky, especially if you do not sell !
yea i know who brooke burke is, an old playboy model,, but shes kinda aged out now
Awesome Finds! I loved the video! 🤗🙂
Thank you very much!
It's still surprises me that somebody will pay $100 for a simple card game it blows my mind. (Hiss)
They are usually significantly less on eBay as well, so no idea why people are spending that much on them on Amazon.
@@pocketsocrates6140 Some people specialize in flipping stuff from ebay to amazon because of the price difference
Still using Amazon for lego sets. Bricklink will give you the real value.
6dollar amazon fees, jeff needs diesel for his yaught. When finding items say sweet sweet sweet and to cashier say thankyou thankyou.
LOL! I know, the fees have gotten out of control on some items.
👍
You probably don't have time to respond to beginners,ut in case you do, what about missing parts? Does this issue not become very important? What if anything if it is not factory wrapped can be done. I am an avid new fan as you , unlike so many teach without using all the jargon language a newbie often doesn't understand. ❤
I try my best to respond to everyone! Even newbies lol. I used to count pieces in the store and I still do when the board game is priced high. But, when a game is priced at $1-3 I just take the risk and count them when I get home. I'd say 1 out of every 7 games is missing pieces. If the game is worth a lot, I will go on ebay and buy a replacement to make the game complete. If the game isn't worth doing that for, I will either part it out on ebay to make some money or just throw the game out. Hope this helps :)
@@ThriftSchool Thanks,it very much does. I am finding there is an emergency amount of work to reselling,it's not free money
:( I want that funko Umbreon.
I went back and it was already sold :(
@@ThriftSchool awww man. Umbreon is my favorite eeveelution.
Hello! :D
Hi :)
Brooke Burke was a playboy model, now she does Sketchers commercials, lol
Those hats wouldn't have been bad on whatnot but just too high the price
I tried selling a couple hats on whatnot and I think they went for $2-4 each. If I can get a bunch for a Quarter or so, I would
@@ThriftSchool Fair enough, try do bulk buys for hats if you're desperate to sell them on Whatnot

Amazon is ridiculous.
I do resale, and have been for 5 years. I also go sourcing at thrift stores. It sucks that you bought every single hot wheels. I've come across multiple of the same item, and I'll always leave atleast 1 for the next person to snag, especially if it's a kids toy. Wish you would think about kids coming in and looking for cars, only for them to be sold out.
Yo odio ah los coleccionistas de funkos.... esos pequeños detalles ,arruinan muchas ventas.
Yeah my hot wheels have no wheels..
You could've easily left a few for kids in need and still of made profit. Buying out entire stock hurts those in need who are struggling to afford toys full price
Maybe people don’t understand that this store as well as almost any thrift store, are a STORE. Anyone can buy anything they want or need at any time because they are stocked all day every day and usually every hour. There is PLENTY to go around. He isn’t doing anything unethical, he is not stealing from people, he’s making thrifted and sought after items available to people online for their going-rate. It’s an income to us, but we also care about people. He offers tips for different ways to make more money in someone’s free time, he is supporting thrift stores to keep them running and keep products out of the land fills they usually end up in, he is a kind person who is always the first to lend a helping hand. These comments are uninformed opinions, not truth or valid. He’s not hurting anyone.
I mean technically it’s a skill issue 🤷♂️
Quit being a hater.
@rondonnis6588 she totally is hating on him. He is trying to earn a living just like everyone else. Doesn’t have a traditional 9 to 5 job. Doing what he knows to do to make money.
@@JaneyThrifts96 well said.
Kids came in and found the toys cleaned out. When I first saw this video I thought he was buying to donate
You don't know Thriftschool. He's working.
@gregorybullock5953 he's the bottom of the barrel, might as well be going into stores and stealing donation jars for sick and neeey children!!
@@grdr545honestly… what’s next? Declawing kittens and kicking puppies? No stopping this fiend. All those toys left on the shelf surrounding the ones he took to make a living… the kids in need deserve every single toy in order to survive! Cruel world we live in.
@@JaneyThrifts96 probably a child molestor too!!
Hey brother was looking to see if we can work together. I tried reaching out to you but you had no social media linked, mind sending us a message?
