Dude! So check this out. The final verdict to fill Rob's shoes came down to Ripper OR Ralf. True Story!! I think right after he got rejected, him and Sinner formed Primal Fear.
Ralf said in an interview that he wasnt chose to replace Rob because he was german and Glenn had issues with that!!! lucky for us there are a lot of PRIEST covers with Ralf's voice, so we know how would've sounded IF, "victim of..., exciter, before the dawn, breaking the law (live), metal gods (studio and live version), nightcrawler (live 2000 and live 2019) plus, a lot of Primal Fear songs sound very ala Priest (specially Ralf's solo album: SCHEEPERS), in a way all this mess helped to release a lot of great music!!!! so i am happy!!!!
