I was hoping for more information on Lost Maples specifically. The information presented was invaluable.. Going to part 2 to see if that has the Lost Maples planning details
Here are some tips. 1. The best time to go is mid November. 2. Reservations open 5 months in advance. Weekends always sell out early, so book early. Consider reserving Thursday to Sunday to backpack Friday to Sunday. 3. Backcountry reservations allow you to stay at any Primitive campsite. The park trail map is sufficient for hiking the trails because it is a small park. 4. Day 1 hike to Primitive campsite 1. There is water that you can filter nearby. Explore the area nearby. 5. Day 2 hike to Primitive campsite G. There is spring with water that you can filter nearby. Explore the area nearby. 6. Day 3 explore trails, hike out. If you enjoy fishing you may fish in the ponds, but all fishing is catch and release. Enjoy!
