Why be sorry about a 9 minute jam? The true test of gear and of the artists is if they can pull off a long set that can keep the interest of the audience. I would love to see an hour set. Something I am working on as I have numerous live PA gigs coming up. Love your use of the Perkons here, btw...I've been doing some of the same.
Thank you for the kind comments! I thought it may have got a little stale over time but happy to hear your words of encouragement on longer sets. I really like using the Perkons in this way. Such simple design choices but adds immense value. Wishing you the best on your upcoming gigs!
What a nice looking sequencer you have, what model is this?? Also love the perkons, about to get my hands on it so thank you for that great musical demo
Not yet. I hear great things about it. My OXI so far feels like the end all for sequencers. I havent looked at anything else since i got a few years ago. I love it. Maybe someday I will cross paths with the T1.
Very nice jam!! Would like to hear about what fx you're using on the perkons sends. About to pull the trigger on it, seems much more immediate than the Pulsar which I love but falls under the "head scratcher" category.
Oh my! I forgot to put that info in the description! Ok, so the Super 6 is running an Arturia Delay Tape 201. Perkons only has 3 voices running FX. Voice 2 is just Reverb, Valhalla Room. Voices 3 and 4 have Arturia Delays and Valhalla Reverb. Thank you for the kind comment! Its super immediate and so playable. I posted a thoughts video for more detail if interested in knowing more.
Nice tight kick. I've been a little unsure about some of the kicks on Perkons from the demos. Do you usually use voice 1 or 3 for kick? As far as I recall voice 3 has the simple analogue style kick algorithm
Hello! I been using the first voice for the Kick but recently discovered voice 2 and 3 have kick ability and add different sonic characteristics. Really versatile machine.
How do you find the Udo by the way? I'm looking at getting a new analogue, and at the mo weighing up a Matriarch or an Analog Four - both very different beasts of course. But the Super Udo 6 also looks like a fab machine with a great sound!
@@GrahamFMcElearney The udo is really nice to get sounds out quickly. I also believe its deceptively deep. A few things are hiding behind the menus. For a digital synth its very creamy. The analog filter is fantastic as well. Playing it live is a joy with just about every control on the panel. Its expensive but built like a tank, very heavy. I would recommend you try one out!
@@Noise-Maker Cheers for that Mark yes I will try if I can find one - sadly we're in a bit of a "synth shop free zone" here in Sheffield at the moment!
Hi Camofilms Each voice had a combo of Arturia Delay or the Eternity Reverb. I cant recall what i had exactly on this track but its usually a combo them. Sending them to Stereo FX sounds really nice with the Perkons.
Hello! Thank you for the wonderful comment. The controller i am using is the OXI ONE Sequencer. Highly recommend if you are looking for a multitrack sequencer. It has many tricks!
Hello! Thank you for the nice comment! Its an amazing hands on unit. Its only 4 voices but its crazy how you can make it sound like 8 or more. Its about swapping patterns and Kits or changing a sound on a step etc. So easy to do and very creative way of working.
Hi Pete, It took me many years to find myself with these units. But nobody needs them to express art. Yes they are nice but just another means to a goal. I hope this finds you well and thank you for commenting!
One of the best use of the Perkons i have seen so far on youtube. Very inspiring!
Thank you so much for the kind comment Fregis!!!
That means a lot!
Spot on!
Satisfied listening experience.
Thank you for listening! Really happy to produce something enjoyable.

I've seen so many bad video's of the Perkons that I just decided not to get it but you single handedly change my mind, Thanks!
You are most welcome! And thank you for the nice comment!
Very nice jam! Like everyone is saying in the comments- so many bad video of the Perkons out in the wild. Sounds tremendous in your hands!
Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment. Really encourages more content!
Yeah, very nice jam! Love the dubby style❤️🔥! Greetings 🖖☺️

Thank you for the comment Somnambule!!! Was testing out that style and really enjoyed it. I hope to explore it a bit more. Stay tuned :)

Thank you! Perkons has some range :)
I just found it. And love it! Subscribed!

Incredible.

Nice! Is there any way to download? Perfect background music
I wish I had sent off to band camp. Just a jam that turned out a little better than expected. :)

Fantastic feeling and sounding synth. You wont be disappointed. Future classic!
Hi Mark
Can you tell me the brand of stand that you use for Udo super 6?
Thanks and fine track!
Love long sessions!
Thanks! Will do more soon!
What a nice looking sequencer you have, what model is this??
Also love the perkons, about to get my hands on it so thank you for that great musical demo
You are most welcome for the demo! The sequencer used in this demo is called an OXI One by OXI Instruments. Highly recommend.
Great combo
It really surprised me how much can be squeezed with just these two.
Thanks for the comment!
Really cool 😎
Thank you John!
I'd love to see a behind the scenes set up video
Thats a great idea. I will put something together soon!
Tx! 😀😀 VERY nice indeed. 👌👌
Thank you so much Rune!!
It’s a tad too big size wise (Perkins). It sounds good though and it’s nice that they can update it with new samples
Would be awesome to see new samples loaded in from Erica Synths!
This is very good!
Thank you Dee!!
Nice one! Great sound on this! 😁👊
Thank you so much!!
tasty!
This gear looks like a part of a nuclear power station control room. Pretty cool!
It does for sure! Really enjoying the look and feel of it!
Thanks for the comment!
That's dope! Great session.
Thank you Kablehead!!
I like it! great track!
Thank you!!!!
👏💜
This is fantastic!!
Thank you for the kind comment!
Have you gotten hands on with the torso t1? Compare it to oxi?
Not yet. I hear great things about it. My OXI so far feels like the end all for sequencers. I havent looked at anything else since i got a few years ago. I love it. Maybe someday I will cross paths with the T1.
Wow!
quality jam

Are you putting this track on iTunes
I really want to put out an EP soon! But no plans on this one.
Very nice

You don’t even need the uno the drum machine is beast
It really can be used all alone! A beast for sure!!
What's the grid sequencer? Dope jam!
Thats my OXI ONE. Light years from anything have used. It packs an insane amount of features.
Thanks for the kind Comment!!
Very cool - beautiful sounds! What's the sequencer thing in the bottom left of the shot?
Thank you for the comment Graham! The Seq is an OXI ONE.

Sounds great. What send FX were you using?
I had some Artruia FX. Just some Delay and Reverb.
sweet!
Thank you!
What FX are you using on each voice please?

Sweet jam! Great dubbed out fx. The Perkons interface seems superb, love the multitrack sequencer. Is it just 4 voices though?
Hello! Thank you for the nice comment! Its an amazing hands on unit. Its only 4 voices but its crazy how you can make it sound like 8 or more. Its about swapping patterns and Kits or changing a sound on a step etc. So easy to do and very creative way of working.
@@Noise-Maker awesome, didn’t realise it has presets (?)
@@ozzy3ml Yes! It has a few patterns and kits to start with I believe!
What effects are you using… there are some after the moon out? It doesn’t sound like you’re using the voices separately.
Where's Crockett and Tubbs?
My fav!
I wish I had a lot of money!

Perkons is an Awesome machine... But not 2,000 dollar Awesome. Hahaha UUmmm No thanks ... I'll wait til the price goes down.
Thanks for the comment Mike! Hope you get one at a deal that makes sense for you! Fun machine for sure! Take care!
For what it is 2k is good.... Every knob has motion record
