I dont know if you see comments, but you could craft int (or with a low tier int )and prefixes cannot be change and more likely. Is more expensive however it has a really high chance to guarante any tier of int.
Tested on craft of exile that cannot roll caster and then non-defense to defence could still remove spell damage and could also add faster start of Energy Shield Recharge as a suffix. I think crafting the faster start of Energy Shield Recharge mod then non-defense to defence is better. I'm not a crafting expert, but this seems to have a better chance for me.
You're doing the prefix wrong. Imprint is the better way. FIrst step, you should alt spam to get t1 spell damage in average 2391 alteration orb. Make sure it has open suffix so you can craft on "Prefix cannot be changed". If the suffix is full, imprint and annul it. Second step, you should imprint the item(t1 spell dmg+prefix cannot be changed) and start reforging "defense more common". In this way, it only costs about 1ex per try(the imprint beast). You'll have a 11.43% chance to hit t2 or higher flat/percent ES, even if we don't count the "more common" part. If you settle for t3, then you'll have a 17.14% chance. Third step, after getting one high tier ES mod and one open prefix, craft on "prefix cannot be change" and do "reforge defense more common" just like what you have done in the video. The only painful part of this craft is alt spamming spell dmg. But you're guaranteed to get t1 spell dmg unlike the fossil method. You can even go for t2 spell dmg if you are tired of it.

Take a look on CraftOfExile yourselves. It literally takes less than 500 tries (or about an ex) to hit the two out three desired mods. Ofc, that doesn't guarantee inc spell dmg but considering is a 2/3 to hit it it would take around 650 tries in total. Im talking about 650 alts and 650 regals which each one you can buy in one trade, so much faster and cheaper than buying the whole stock of double resonators and 1k+ fossils

The "lucky" mechanic doesn't actually mean lucky. It rolls the value twice and picks the higher amount.

A blue item can only have 1 prefix and 1 suffix max, an item with 2 prefix will always be rare.
