    I think you’re probably a Southern dude, so you’ll completely get it when I say, “Bless your heart!” I’ve “parked” my new Highlander for over a week til I had time to “get acquainted”. I must say you’ve gotten me way further than the salesman did! Thank you so very much!

    Hands downs the BEST review i've watched on the 2019 Limited Platinum Highlander. So much detail on EVERY aspect of the vehicle. So good, we ordered a Platinum model based on your review of it, and are looking forward to its arrival. I agree with some peoples comments about the lack of LED Headlights on this model year, but if its not a deal breaker for us. Also...keep the little hand pointer...it sets your videos apart from the other ones !!!

    Awesome video! We LOVE our new 2019 limited! It's an absolute dream to drive! Smooth, super quiet, very comfortable, crazy amount of leg room in back, lots of cargo space, and has plenty of power. It tows our 20ft Sea Ray like it's not even there. As far as other vehicles in this class NO ONE beat the overall ride and room of this SUV. Yes competitors might have more techie gadgets, but feel like cheap plastic shoe boxes. As far as the lights go, yes I think it should definitely come with LEDs and remote start keyfobs. We went ahead and ordered/added two remote start keyfobs. If I remember correctly they were just over $500 bucks with installation. Go test drive one....you'll love it!

    Yes, this new High Lander car is very pretty, much better than the old high lander. In my country, to buy this car costs me 60 000 to 70 000 USD it depends on the models of this car. The imported tax of this car is extremely expensive.

    Can't go wrong with a Highlander. I do feel like it's time for Toyota to completely revamp it, like the Tundra. This is the fifth year of the third generation Highlander. The 4.2" multi-information display seems so dated. Also, halogen headlights on a $40k+ vehicle is pretty bad.

    • @SantoshNair1
      @SantoshNair1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i hear the 2020 model is going to be the next generation. i sure hope they put in a better display with Android Auto/Apple Play, remove the CD player (who uses that!) and ofcourse on the outside put LED lights over halogen.

    I just cross-shopped this and went with the Mazda CX-9. I know the Toyota is the safer bet as far as reliability ( maybe) and resale but the MAZDA is in a different class as far as quality of interior materials go. Its far more leaning towards a luxury car. I like Toyota and I have a 9 year old Tundra that runs as good as the day I bought it. No issues. But I see shades here of what now seems dated and plasticky to me on the Tundra. They will do a major re-do of this next year or so and it will have some improvements in that area. The engine is what makes this car compete so well. It is great and yes I wish I could drop it in my CX-9 but honestly the 4 Turbo with 310 lbs scoots down the road and tows 2 heavy bikes with no issues and good mileage.

    1: No HID or LED headlights. Let's get of of the 1990s.
    2: Factory remote start...then you open your car door and it stops the engine, no aftermarket remote start will keep it running ? ?
    Yet Hyundai, Ford, Buick and Chevy... to name a few.. I just open the door and drive away.. no problem.
    3: Entune... just go to the app page and see the 1600 reviews of which 95% are 1 star... ONE STAR ! !

    Does the 2019 Toyota Highlander really come with LED fog lights? Because I’ve been searching all over again the internet just to find out if it did because another video shows that for 2019, the Highlander has LED fog lights.
    Not only, what trim does the LED fog lights come on the Highlander? XLE? Limited? SE?

    My husband and I test drove 2 different 2019 Highlanders just recently and both had a vibration in the steering wheel after reaching between 60-70 mph on the highway. Not violent shaking, but enough to leave our hands tingling after each ride. Is this common or did we really find two cars at different dealerships needing realignment? I have a 2000 Sienna that rides smoother.

    • @michaelo.7759
      @michaelo.7759 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a no cost option when you order it on the higher trim levels (or find one on a sales lot with the 2nd row bench seat already in it)...otherwise the Highlander is only considered a 7 passenger with the Captains Chairs seat configuration. The 2nd row full bench seat allows 8 passengers to be seated in it.

    Just got 2018 highlander limited Platinum AWD. Front seats are horribly uncomfortable. Seat bottom cushion are way too thin feels like sitting on piece of ply wood. After driving for three weeks my leg gets numb even driving for about fifteen minutes. Called Totoya to report. Paid around 50k expected Toyota would more do to make seats more cushion. My recommendation don't buy it!!!

      Allen Plong -I hear you, had the limited platinum 2015 but after 2 years and just 24K miles could not take it anymore, the seats are most uncomfortable and infotainment so outdated and dull, I just hated it everyday. The good though was soft shaky , quiet ride ( but too much body motion in corners) and the silky smooth V6 engine, many won’t care so this will sell in huge numbers anyway...

      You should’ve bought a Pilot EX 2018

      Not sure what other luxury model vehicle you owned before, but I also own a Platinum Trim (2019) and unless they changed something on the 2019 model, these seats are SUPER comfortable...My wife and I both cannot understand why yours wouldn't be? We can stay in the Highlander on a trip for 150 or more miles and never have a complaint about them.

    In my honest opinion - the 2014-2016 version looks the best! The Highlander is looking uglier and uglier and not many new improvements.
