to be clear the guitar is recorded and played back via the boss RC-5 looper not the KO2 - ko2 is doing the drums only and sending out sync the the looper pedal out of shot. i'm hoping at som point that the KO2 can have a firmware update where you can play the ko2 and sample into it at the same time.
@@tjguardino haha, makes sense! I am looking for equipment to do live gigs just by myself so trying to get some inspiration and gear ideas, You do cool stuff, please continue :)
Could you share a little bit more about how you’re using the KO-II please? I have one and record my guitar directly in order to sample/chop, or paired with my loop pedal - but never though to loop directly. Can you share how are you able to loop and overdub directly on device? P.S really liked this, lovely vibe. Great work!
Hey thank you!! The KOII is just handling the drums, and it’s sending MIDI clock to a Boss RC-5 which is under my desk. So the looper stays perfectly in sync with my drums but it’s a different audio signal
@@ckrug32 thank you!! You know, when bought it I was worried it was too much.. but about 5 years later I’ve put this thing through hell and it still plays like butter. That’s what’s worth it in my opinion, no other guitar I’ve had is this consistent for this long.
Sweet I just bought a ko2 off eBay was hoping to see guitar content with it. Hopefully the fader is ok on mine. What guitar looper do you have? And how did you record this? Into one track
@@siddadood nice I think you’ll enjoy it! I use the Boss RC-5 with it and I sync the tempo via MIDI. I run 4 separate outputs into my recording software… Stereo for drums and then a mono output for guitar and a mono output for bass. I’ll try to do a video on my full setup sometime soon!
I do like the workflow of the KO! I’m just trying to get away from a computer-based setup so I’ve been trying standalone grooveboxes. The KO is really cool but I’ll probably just end up going to my MPC for most stuff :)
Yep I’m pretty sure it can! The KO isn’t the actual looper here it’s sending MIDI out to a Boss RC-5 that’s under the desk, but the Medieval can do the same thing :)

Yep that’s right. Under my desk is the Boss RC-5 and the HX Stomp. That would be reeeeally cool for a firmware update tho ⚡️
Lovely chill vibes. I'm totally inspired by your setup and playing. I hope to see lots more jams!
Thanks so much that means a lot!!! More jams incoming I promise :) Thanks for watching!!
This was so good! Been thinking about getting the KO II. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! It’s a great sampler, I really enjoy it :) If you get one I hope you do too!
Beautiful! Love the guitar tone, great vibes my dude. Keep it up 👏🏼
@@AdilConstantineMusic thanks so much man!! Much appreciated 🙏🙏 I’ll keep at it!
Nice! How did you acheive the various way things are panned? Very curious to know!
Thanks!! The EP-133 is fully stereo and can pan things around, so most of it I did in there :) Guitar is also recorded in stereo through the HX Stomp!
Love it
@@JaydenLawson thank you!!
Wow, awesome using instruments
Thanks for listening!! Cheers!
Hoppin chill blues. ❤ subscribed
Awesome, thank you!!! Much appreciated 🙌
Nice playing! I can def. hear Tom Misch in this, 1:34 :D
Yes!! I love Tom Misch, you’ll hear a lot of his influence in my playing 😅

Thank you so much 😀 Much appreciated 🙏
So sick so smooth
Thank youuuu much appreciated 🙌🙌
Well that was amazing
Thank youuuu much appreciated! 🙌🙏⚡️
Beautifully done!
Thank you very much! Much appreciated 🙏🙏🙏
cool stuff bro, what you use the dj stuff to the right at the table for?
Haha that’s actually just my audio interface. Those two big knobs do look like little turntables though!

@@tjguardino ah that makes total sense! Phew, I thought I’d missed something on the KO-II!
Thank you for sharing, and keep making music!
That guitar tone is butter! Can't believe it's coming from a pedal and not an amp. Are Suhrs worth the premium over something like Fender (American)?

I thought you jad yo hold down the sample button to sample things in ,how you s sampling your guitar ? What magic is this ?
Ha! I have the KO synced to a Boss looper pedal under my desk and that’s what’s handling all the loop stuff
it’s a shame you can’t do live looping with the KO
@@pault4249 that would definitely put it on another level ⬆️
You've just got a new subscriber.

Great loop music!

Has the KO replaced your Maschine unit with the more convenient setup?
I was wondering the same thing ! do you like the workflow of the KO ? in terms of your playing style (guitar / hip hop / lofi )

Nice drums, is It stock sounds?
Thanks!! Yep, all stock samples used on this
Good job ❤
Thank you very much!
Hi grate setup, how you sync midi?
I’ll try to do a video on it! Short answer: connect a stereo aux cable from the MIDI out of the EP-133 into the MIDI In of the Boss RC-5 :)
Ok! So as I thought, you sync ep with looper. Cool!
Wow man… can you tell us a story about your beautiful musical background? 😊
Thank you so much!!! I’ve been playing guitar for a long time but I also love hip hop.. always trying to blend the two!
Can this be done with the Medieval?
Yep I’m pretty sure it can! The KO isn’t the actual looper here it’s sending MIDI out to a Boss RC-5 that’s under the desk, but the Medieval can do the same thing :)
Chords?
Bbmaj, Fmaj/A, Abmaj, Ebmaj/G :)
What beat machine is that?
EP-133 by Teenage Engineering. Great groovebox!
Love it
