Those NYC views hit differently from the air. It is such a beautiful city to look at from above. Glad you kept it recording right up until pulling up to the gate, so many turn off their videos shortly after landing.

I like this approach because you can see the U.S. National Tennis Center and Citi Field ballpark on the left just before landing.
Me too. I had a midnight landing once after a 10.5 hr flight delay. Best ruined day's outcome ever. What a beautiful sight it was. I've never flown redeye before.

When this approach is in use (RNAV X-RAY 31) I purposely sit on the left side of the plane for the Manhattan view as well as the airport off the left side on final approach! Great video!

Spectacular night landing is the perfect title for this landing. Gorgeous seeing you flying over the Empire State Building. You captured it beautifully! Do you know what Sifat? Thank you Sifat! It was so amazing! It was really interesting to see the roads with so much traffic. I wish that I knew NYC to see where that was. I have never been to NYC, but I flew to Israel from the United hub in N.J. and the pilot flew over Manhattan at 10:00 p.m. and tilted the plane so that we could see the skyscrapers. You captured those beautifully too. There was a huge globe (earth), before landing at La Guardia. What was that? Debby in Kansas
