This is the third time I have had the same problem with Tefal Irons. The last two have had the same fault and both just outside one year of ownership. The fault is a flashing orange/red light and the iron refuses to warm up. It seems like the iron has decided it is in idle mode and refuses to reactivate. Really fed up. Bosch, Tefal, Rowenta, . Doesn't matter which brand they all pack up within a year or so.
I have bought a Tefal Prima iron and simply cannot see the water level as I fill it. Why not design it with a transparent window instead of the whole iron being purple?
I bought 2 t fal irons with auto shut off, including this one. And the auto shut off wouldn't turn off no matter what I did. They both wouldn't heat up from the moment of purchase. I had to return both. Very disappointed.

on this iron are you meant to hold the switch to the right for turbo steam or should the switch above the filling port stay put?
