    Sadly, Sammy passed away last November. After his stint as a dairy farmer he went on to be a successful HVAC technician. The days of the small, family owned dairy farms are mostly over. The large corporate dairy farms can produce milk at a much cheaper price. Most of the corporate farms have at least 700 to 1000 head of dairy cattle. There is no way a small dairy farm with less than 100 head of cattle could survive in today’s market.
