PSG beefs up security of First Family

Following the exposes of President Rodrigo Duterte on personalities involved in illegal drugs, the Presidential Security Group (PSG) has further beefed-up the security of the First Family.
Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte said the PSG has doubled the security forces for the First Family, especially that of the President’s grandchildren.
“Akong gipabantayan og maayo sa among pamilya kay among mga anak (I requested that security of our children be intensified),” he said in an interview Tuesday.
Paolo said that although security threat has already been part of their lives, they have always been on their toes.
“Kami tanan alerto,” the Presidential son said, adding that they are always ready to protect themselves if ever they are attacked.
The PSG is the unit tasked to secure the President and his family.
Paolo said the PSG personnel assigned to them are Scout Rangers and members of the Philippine National Police. CIO
