I think you could probably rework it to that end. You would need a lot more items, and some map tils with suitably large spaces. I think it could be a fun thing to play around with.
@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring the Harry Potter IP might lend itself to a unique dungeon crawl. With Fluffy, a giant Troll, a Basilisk, and Dementors scattered throught the school, it could be rather interesting.
Sounds like the Funkoverse dice could be used to replace Heroquest dice. Speaking of,I had a funny thought. I don't know if anyone else has thought of it,but I thought I'd share anyway. GW should re-release the old Heroquest minis from the original game. Just to mess with Hasbro. And it would let people refresh their old Heroquest game. Call it the "Questing Heroes" pack. Or maybe just a re-release of the original Warhammer Quest games since retro games are "hot" right now. Just thought it'd give people a laugh.
There is a company called Minis3D who make the full range of classic HeroQuest miniatures. They are a good place to go for anybody looking to restore an original copy with missing components. I think there is a possibility that a reissue of Warhammer Quest 95 may happen now that Games Workshop are bringing back the Old World. It would definitely do well.
@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoringWell,you know how people are about "official products". Could even use them in the local tourneys. But yeah,I'm well aware of fan created means. I'd buy a copy. Probably pick up Battle Masters if they re-released that too. But mostly,it's just about beating Hasbro to the punch before they put out Advanced Heroquest. Better to do it sooner than later.
@Merlynn132 Battle Masters was MB (Hasbro), Advanced Heroquest was Games Workshop. Also worth remembering that Hasbro and GW have an excellent working relationship. They aren’t likely to do anything to wind each other up.
@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring No,BM was a collaboration between GW and MB like Heroquest was. It's why all the minis look that way and references to chaos and shit. And they already do tons to wind each other up. You're just lying to yourself on that one.
@@Merlynn132 Avalon Hill have already talked about the idea of remaking Battle Masters, they just need to strip out GWs IP. The two companies do still work together and have a good relationship.
"Cooperative Strategy Game" ... Already sounds smarter than the Fast and the Furious franchise 😂 I have a coworker who loved Nightmare before Christmas so much, she had her wedding Nightmare Before Christmas themed!
@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring oh, side note; i just got my "Propechy of Telor" expansion. They did clean up some of the text issues, moved around some paragraphs and changed some words to make more sense. Curiously they also painted the corridors grey in the Quest Book... Not sure why..?
There is a massive list on Ye Old Inn breaking down every change they made between Mythic and retail. It looks like they put the effort in to tidy it up a lot, which is good to see.
Oh, speak of the devil, it just arrived! I can proudly report the new combat dice are a slightly different color from the ones from the Frozen Horror. More of a teal hue...
I do appreciate a good bargan. Do you think they could do a Dungeon Crawl alternative with Funkoverse?

The Harry Potter miniatures skirmish game is good fun. I can see a dungeoncrawler being entertaining.
How big are those Pops that come with the game? Regular size or smaller?
They are smaller than standard Pops, but bigger than Pocket Pops. They stand around 3 inches tall.

An NBX wedding would be great. I might have done that if I could have pulled off the pinstripes.

Damn, it was £4 two week ago!
Hey, that's still a great price.
It was. I snapped it up.
